A survey in Germany showed that the majority of participants want to recognize the State of Palestine and support the European Union's proposal to suspend trade and customs agreements with Israel.
In a survey conducted by the Federal Republic of Germany's public broadcasting authority, 55 percent of participants expressed their support for recognizing the State of Palestine, while 20 percent opposed it.
Regarding the sanctions that the European Union plans to impose on Israel, 55 percent of participants expressed their desire for Germany to support the European Union's proposal to suspend trade and customs agreements with Israel, while 27 percent opposed it.
The survey revealed that 63 percent of Germans believe that Israel's attacks on Gaza have "crossed the line."
Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, resulting in 66,288 deaths and 169,165 injuries, most of whom are children and women, and a famine that has claimed the lives of 457 Palestinians, including 152 children.
63% of Germans believe that Israel's attacks on Gaza have crossed the line.
