The office of the Prime Minister of the occupation, Benjamin Netanyahu, clarified today, Wednesday, regarding the management of the Rafah land crossing.
The office said in a statement, "Palestinian parties other than Hamas will manage the Rafah crossing under the supervision of the European Union."
Netanyahu's office confirmed that the only role of the Palestinian Authority at the Rafah crossing is to stamp passports.
He pointed out that anyone who travels through the Rafah crossing must obtain prior approval from the army and the Shin Bet.
