The so-called "Ethics" Committee in the Israeli Knesset decided, on Monday evening, to impose severe penalties on Knesset member Ofer Cassif after his recent statements.
According to the official Israeli Broadcasting Authority, it was decided to freeze Kassif's membership for 6 months and deprive him of his salary for two weeks.
Kassif, a member of the Knesset for the Jewish-Arab Front for Change, had accused the Israeli army of committing war crimes in Gaza.
