Netanyahu: Israel's 'precise and powerful' attack on Iran 'achieved its goals'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that the Israeli attack on Iran was "precise and powerful" and that it "achieved its goals."

"We promised to respond to the Iranian attack, and on Saturday we struck. The attack on Iran was precise and powerful, and it achieved all its goals," he said in a speech marking the anniversary, according to the Hebrew calendar, of the October 7 attack.

Netanyahu added: "We dealt a severe blow to Iran's defense systems and Tehran's ability to produce guided missiles against us," he said.

Thanking the United States for the "precise coordination" during the attack on Iran, Netanyahu said that "over the past months we have worked to cut off the Iranian arms and on Saturday morning we struck a blow to the head," as he described it.
