Israeli colonists attack olive pickers, steal fruits and equipment in central Hebron

Today, Saturday, settlers attacked olive pickers in the Tel Rumeida area, in central Hebron.

Local sources reported that a number of settlers assaulted the Aseid family while they were picking olives in Tel Rumeida, and stole the equipment and fruits.

During the annual olive harvest season, Palestinian lands are subjected to repeated attacks by settlers and the occupation army, and farmers constantly face obstacles and arbitrary practices that prevent them from accessing their lands, which leads to huge material losses and increases their daily suffering under the burden of the occupation.

It is expected that farmers will not be able to reach 80,000 dunums of land planted with olives, due to the terror of the settlers under the protection of the occupation army, which will lead to the loss of about 15% of this year’s season’s crop.
