The Israeli occupation army announced, on Thursday, the killing of three of its soldiers during violent clashes in Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.
The army said the dead soldiers were: Staff Sergeant (res.) Uri Moshe Bornstein, 32; Major (res.) Netanel Hershkovich, 37; and Staff Sergeant (res.) Zvi Matityahu Marantz, 32. The statement said the soldiers were killed when an explosive device exploded targeting a military jeep, in addition to mortar shells being fired in the area.
On the other hand, Palestinian medical sources reported an increase in the number of victims in an "Israeli" attack that targeted the Rafidah School in Deir al-Balah, which was sheltering displaced people.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said the attack killed 28 people and injured 54 others, according to Reuters.
