The Group of Seven condemned the Iranian attack on the Israeli occupation entity, according to what the White House announced.
The White House said on Wednesday that the Group of Seven is considering imposing new sanctions on Tehran.
The statement said that US President Joe Biden participated in telephone conversations with the leaders of the Group of Seven "to discuss Iran's unacceptable attacks on Israel and coordinate their response (...) including new sanctions."
Biden stressed that he would not support an Israeli strike on Iranian nuclear sites, noting that Washington would discuss with Tel Aviv what it would do and agree on their right to respond. "But it should be proportionate."
