The Hebrew Channel Kan reported, on Monday evening, that US President Joe Biden is scheduled to hold a special hearing today that will be devoted to negotiations to reach an agreement to release the hostages and a ceasefire in light of the faltering communications between Hamas and Israel.
According to the channel, in recent days, senior White House officials held several talks with senior officials in Qatar and other countries to exert additional pressure on Hamas.
Sources were quoted as saying that the position in the United States is that Hamas has set additional conditions that are considered a tightening of its position in the negotiations.
Senior Israeli officials said: Even if Israel withdraws from Philadelphia, Hamas will make additional demands.
