Today, Thursday, the Israeli occupation forces refused to coordinate the entry of medical teams from the emergency polio vaccination campaign into areas east of Salah al-Din Street, in the southern Gaza Strip.
The official WAFA news agency said that the campaign was scheduled to start today in Khan Yunis Governorate and the southern areas of the Gaza Strip, where a large percentage of the targeted group of children are located, but the occupation forces refused to coordinate the entry of the campaign crews into the southern areas of the Gaza Strip.
The vaccination campaign concluded its first phase yesterday, Wednesday, which included the central governorate in the Gaza Strip, during which about 190,000 children were vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine.
