More than a thousand settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque this morning, Tuesday, under heavy protection from the Israeli occupation police.
According to the Islamic Endowments Department, more than 1,400 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Settlers raised the Israeli flag inside Al-Aqsa Mosque and chanted the Israeli anthem, while commemorating what they claim is the "anniversary of the destruction of the temple."
The extremist Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, the Minister of the Negev and Galilee, Yitzhak Wasserlauf, and Likud Knesset Member Amit Halevi participated in the raid.
The occupation forces prevented Jerusalemites from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque during the hours of the settlers storming the mosque, amid strict measures taken in the Old City and its surroundings.
