Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, called today, Saturday, for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the protection of civilians and health workers.
Ghebreyesus added, in a tweet on the "X" platform, that he is deeply concerned about the safety of civilians and patients in Deir al-Balah, following recent reports of Israeli airstrikes on areas where many displaced people are taking refuge.
