Iranian official: If Israel targets our facilities, it will receive a response with more advanced weapons

The semi-official Tasnim news agency quoted a senior Iranian Revolutionary Guard commander as saying on Thursday that Iran may review its “nuclear doctrine” in light of Israeli threats, which raised concerns about Tehran’s nuclear program, which it always says is intended for peaceful purposes only.

The commander stressed that Iran is ready to confront any Israeli threat targeting its nuclear facilities, and said: “If Israel targets our facilities, it will receive a response with more advanced weapons. We are ready to launch powerful missiles to destroy specific targets in Israel, and our hands are on the trigger, and the Israeli nuclear facilities have been identified.”
