Israeli security source talks about ground attack on Gaza

There is increasing talk in Israeli circles about a “ground invasion” of the Gaza Strip, reminiscent of what happened in 2008 and 2014, in response to the surprise attacks launched by Hamas on Saturday morning.

In conjunction with statements by Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant that “the attack from the ground will come later” in the wake of the violent air strikes that are devastating Gaza, an Israeli security source told Reuters that the ground attack has now become “inevitable,” after the air strikes.

The security source, who requested to remain anonymous, said that he believes that the Israeli ground invasion “cannot be avoided because of the high price we paid. This will be after the air strikes carried out by the Air Force.”

The source added that the goal is to "weaken the other party, and in the process make individuals flee (from the crowded areas). It is also related to the size of the force, the strategy, and the element of surprise. You cannot just enter."

In the same context, the Israeli Defense Minister said, speaking to soldiers near the Gaza fence: “We started the attack from the air, and we will come later from the ground as well.”

He continued: "We have controlled the area since the second day and have been under attack. Its intensity will intensify."

Former Israeli National Security Advisor Giora Eiland also spoke about the possibility of launching a comprehensive ground attack.

Israel continues to bomb the Gaza Strip and all cities and neighborhoods for the fifth day in a row. As of yesterday, at least 849 martyrs and 4,300 wounded have fallen, hundreds of residential units and neighborhoods have been destroyed, and hundreds of thousands of elderly families, women and children have been displaced. To make matters worse and more complicated, Israel has cut off water and electricity. And fuel. The people in Gaza no longer found a place to shelter or food to eat, and they began to leave their homes, which were threatened with demolition by planes, and take refuge in hospitals, mosques, and churches, hoping that they would find safety and security.

Despite these painful conditions, the occupation, with its planes and all its other weapons, does not stop attacking Gaza that is living in these conditions.

Given these conditions, the Prime Minister of the occupation government, Netanyahu, said in a phone call with his ally and friend, US President Joe Biden, that they in Israel are forced to launch a ground invasion of the Gaza Strip, which means preparing for more destruction and violations after they destroyed more than 240 complete housing units.

In addition to these destructive practices issued by the Israeli official authorities, the settlers continued their attacks while receiving strong support from the government. Several injuries occurred among our people by settler bullets in several towns. Those who occupy our land and build cities and towns on it also burned vehicles and attacked farmers in several areas, and the worst thing is that dozens of them stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque after the occupation forces closed most of the barriers leading to our promised capital, the Eternal City of Jerusalem, in the belief that they would thus make storming Al-Aqsa easier.

They realize that our people will never surrender and that they will continue to defend their land and rights. Therefore, 5 settlements were completely evacuated in the area surrounding the Gaza Strip, which was stormed by Palestinian militants. More than 150 people were captured and detained in Gaza, and about a thousand Israelis were killed and 2,800 wounded. Which prompted Netanyahu to call for the formation of an emergency government. The Israeli army spokesman also said that in Israel they are undergoing a massive recruitment campaign for reserve forces that has reached a limit of 300,000 soldiers within 24 hours. He added that this is the largest operation facing Israel.

It must be noted that most of these developments come after Palestinian forces stormed the border from the Gaza Strip and took control of Israeli settlements and sites for a period of time.

These developments must be realized by the occupation leaders, that this arrogance, tyranny, and occupation of the land cannot be tolerated or accepted, and if they are the strongest at this stage, then they must learn that the infiltration of small Palestinian forces has created all these fears, developments, and procedures for the occupation government, so what will their situation be like with Millions of our people?! Will they wake up from the slumber of these current delusions, or will they remain asleep in their ignorance?!

Venezuelan Foreign Minister: US is waging a “multifaceted aggression” against Venezuela

Venezuelan Foreign Minister Ivan Gil said that the United States is waging a "multifaceted aggression" against Venezuela, at a meeting of the United Nations Human Rights Committee in Geneva, Switzerland.

Gil stated in his speech during the 139th session of the Committee that “Venezuela remains under a constant threat from foreign powers that seek to encroach (our country).”

He reported that US measures against the South American country had a "negative" impact on the rights of its people.

Gil noted that the United States and other countries have adopted more than 930 “restrictive or punitive” measures against Venezuela.

He warned that these measures significantly reduced the state's ability to obtain the resources and services necessary to fully meet the needs of the Venezuelan people.

So it is a new Dresden and a war of extermination...Mr. Biden

Whoever watches what is happening in the Al-Rimal neighborhood and in other neighborhoods in Gaza City, it will come to his mind that we are facing a war crime like the one that took place in the German city of Dresden on February 13, 1945, the day British and American planes raided the city and turned it into rubble. That day, 800 British Avro Lancaster bombers and 311 American B-17 aircraft attacked the city of Dresden. British planes dropped 1,478 tons of high-explosive bombs and 1,182 tons of incendiary bombs on the sleeping city, creating a fiery hurricane. Then American planes dropped 771 tons of bombs on February 14, and 466 tons the next day.

There were no military industries in Dresden, and there were no military bases, not even supply bases for an already dilapidated German army waiting for the moment of surrender after the brutal war, which was started by the Nazi army and whose events covered the entire European continent, from the Soviet Union in the East to Great Britain in the West. This huge amount of bombs fell on the heads of civilians, completely destroying 78,000 residential homes, in addition to many other non-residential buildings, including 50 historical buildings, and causing the deaths of more than 25,000 civilians.

A number of prominent German figures, including the Nobel Prize-winning German writer, Gunter Grass, described the bombing of Dresden as a war crime. The well-known American journalist Christopher Hitchens indicated that the goal of the air attack on Dresden was to train pilots to drop bombs, while the German historian Jorg Friedrich described the bombing of Dresden as a terrorist operation.

War crimes and terrorist acts have a long record, not only in the extended history of British and American governments and administrations, but also in the rulers of Tel Aviv. These are common denominators between the rulers of London, Washington, and Tel Aviv throughout the long history of an alliance whose satanic character is not hidden from anyone. It is certainly not new to the rulers of Tel Aviv since the implementation of the horrific crimes in the "Plan Dalet", which was approved by the leadership of both the Jewish Agency and the Zionist movement in March 1948 and resulted in the erasure of hundreds of Palestinian towns and villages from existence, and it is the same for new extremists in Israel like Itamar Ben Gvir, Bezalel Smotrich and others are just training for what is coming according to the decisive plan that is being implemented in stages in the West Bank with the full support of Benjamin Netanyahu, whose army was busy with Gaza with myths and with accompanying those obsessed with performing Talmudic prayers in “Joseph’s Tomb” and in “The Altar of Yesha” and providing Protection for settlements, settlement outposts, so-called pastoral farms, and the Jewish terrorist organizations and entities they contain, such as the “Hill Youth” thugs and the “price tag” thugs.

Returning to Dresden, the weight of the bombs dropped on it in two days by British and American planes amounted to about 2,249 tons. Gaza is not far from this number so far, as the Israeli occupation army spokesman stated that its planes dropped more than a thousand on the Strip in the first and second days of the aggression. tons of explosives, which means that the weight of the explosives dropped by its planes on innocent civilians, the longer the aggression lasts, will be many times greater than what that German city was exposed to, which means that the world will be facing a humanitarian catastrophe. The American administration pledged to double its suffering by supplying the rulers of Hill Aviv with more American-made bombs of death and destruction dropped by American-made planes on Gaza to wipe out neighborhoods from the map and empty a strip of land of its residents in preparation for a new type of control plan for the Gaza Strip that the rulers of Tel Aviv have in mind, after the failure of a unilateral withdrawal from the Strip from Achieving all its goals.

Gunther Gross, the great German writer, passed away eight years ago. He was described as the conscience of Germany and the dean of its writers. He did not hesitate to criticize the State of Israel. He did not hesitate to demand the disarmament of its nuclear weapons. In his famous poem “What Should Be Said,” he early on directed harsh criticism of Benjamin Netanyahu’s policy and behavior, free from the German guilt complex. Nazism in Germany and the horrors of the Holocaust are not an excuse for us to remain silent about Israel’s possession of nuclear weapons.” In his poem, Gross tried as much as he could to destroy the “idol of worship” that is anti-Semitism, and he stood and warned the world of the madness of Israeli arrogance, a madness that could go beyond the madness of the current barbaric aggression on the Gaza Strip and the accompanying war crimes to something greater and more dangerous, If Biden's move to send aircraft carriers, battleships, and destroyers to the eastern Mediterranean exceeds the limits of political maneuvering.

Where will the Palestinian October lead?

Nabil Amr

Every war, regardless of its size, and regardless of the number of armies, states, and peoples participating in it, must result in political arrangements, in which new maps are approved, and as a result of which multiple entities are created, if we are talking about a global or regional war.

In the case of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, it is a permanent state of war. It did not begin on the morning of October 7, 2023, but rather began at the beginning of the last century, and it has been going on for a long time until it can be described as the war of the two centuries.

With a calm reading of the facts of history, we conclude that the Palestinians made mistakes and were right, but what is recorded in their favor from the first day of their national struggle until our days is that they made huge sacrifices, perhaps the highest compared to their number, and preserved their cause, rights, and national identity despite the pressure of the traditional balance of power, which is always To their disadvantage, and also despite the alliance superiority of their Israeli opponent, which enjoys permanent European and American support.

Many times, the Palestinian file was opened to attempts at a solution, and many times military coups took place in the Arab incubator, the liberation of Palestine being its number one message. More and more times, the solution to the case seemed as if it was just around the corner, but it was a mirage. Whenever you approached it, you could find no water.

It is self-evident that a Palestinian revolution would take place, starting with the slogan of liberating Palestine on which the State of Israel was established. After occupying the remainder of Palestinian land in 1967, and establishing the PLO as the sole legitimate representative of the people and the cause in both fighting and negotiation, the Palestinians responded to the world’s demand to give up regarding the first revolution declaration that was launched in 1965, the discourse and effort focused on establishing a Palestinian state on the lands occupied in 1967, without abandoning the demand to solve the refugee issue in accordance with international legitimacy.

After October 1973, the file was opened again, with Egyptian-Israeli talks separate from the basic talks between the Egyptian state and the Hebrew state. The Palestinians rejected the principle of the talks that focused on self-rule, and the Egyptians continued their work, which finally led to the complete liberation of Sinai.

From the beginning of their catastrophe to the present day, the Palestinians have been moving from war to war, and from displacement to new displacement. Their journey has been full of heroism and creativity, but what they sought has not been achieved. Rather, after each battle, it seems as if it is moving away.

Now, let us take a look at the opponent’s front (Israel) and how its policies led to closing the door to settlements, which automatically leads to opening the doors to war, and let us chronicle the story since “Madrid” and then “Oslo.”

In Madrid, Shamir, the Israeli Prime Minister at the time, revealed that he was taken to the conference by force, and everyone would be lost in the maze of time without achieving anything.

As for “Oslo,” the experience that took place in Israel was plagued with one voice, by a duo that announced its program to reach power and decision-making, the basis of which was the destruction of “Oslo” and what was built on it. Since that time and to this day, the duo has remained ruling and deciding in Israel. If Sharon dies, then his partner in to finish off Oslo, he not only remained alive, but also as president for five or six consecutive terms, preserving the Likud principles he shared with the late Sharon, and they are being implemented to this day.

Israel, after the “Al-Aqsa Deluge" operation, and its declaration of war under the title of revenge, and entering into a numbers contest over the dead and wounded according to the principle that if you kill a thousand, we will kill four thousand, and if you destroy a hundred homes, we will destroy ten thousand, and this is how things are going now; which makes even talking about a political settlement a form of madness.

America moved an aircraft carrier to stand close to the shores of Israel and Gaza, and foreign countries outdid each other in talking about Israel's right to defend itself, in a demonstration of support and adoption of Israel's military choice.

Common sense says that what is expected of America and its allies around the world is, in short, a political initiative that sets aside military solutions. Its only condition is that it pleases the Palestinians and the Arabs, and not conform to Israel’s whims and agendas. Thus, it puts the cart behind the horse, so that everyone can emerge from the cycle of occupation and siege. The wars that began in our country three-quarters of a century ago are still active and of frightening magnitude.

What satisfies the Palestinians and the Arabs is exactly what is stated in the Arab Peace Initiative and international legitimacy resolutions. With this, Israel will rest and relax, as will America and the world.

Sullivan: US is engaged in contingency planning for scenarios amid Israel-Palestine conflict

US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said Tuesday that contingency planning is underway in case the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestinian groups intensifies.

"The president has also tasked us with engaging in contingency planning for any and all escalation scenarios," Sullivan told reporters at the White House.

"And we are now deeply engaged in that planning. And we're consulting with allies and partners as well about all of the potential scenarios that might unfold in the days ahead," he added.

In his remarks, he recalled that under President Joe Biden's direction, the US military has enhanced its posture in the Middle East to strengthen deterrence, including the movement of a carrier strike group.

"Let me be clear: we did not move the carrier for Hamas. We moved the carrier to send a clear message of deterrence to other states or non-state actors that might seek to widen this war," said Sullivan.

He echoed the US stance, cautioning those who seek to take advantage of the conflict.

"Let me repeat...everyone, including enemies who are thinking of exploiting the current situation, hear it loud and clear. The United States has always and will always have Israel's back," he said.

Palestine accuses Israel of using white phosphorus bombs in Gaza

Palestine on Tuesday accused Israel of using phosphorus incendiary weapons in bombing populated areas in the Gaza Strip.

“The Israeli occupation is using internationally banned white phosphorus bombs against the Palestinians in the Karama neighborhood in northern Gaza,” the Foreign Ministry said on X platform.

Rami Abdo, the founder of the European Observatory for Human Rights, posted a video clip on the X platform of what he said was Israel’s use of phosphorus bombs.

“Israeli military forces are using toxic white phosphorus [bombs] on densely populated areas northwest of Gaza City,” he wrote.

The New York-based rights group Human Rights Watch had earlier cited reports of Israel’s use of white phosphorus bombs in Gaza during past conflicts.

The use of white phosphorus weapons to generate a smokescreen and cover troop movements is legally accepted, but the 1980 Geneva Convention forbids its use in densely populated areas.

There was no comment from Israel on the claim.

Israel continued its airstrikes on the Gaza Strip for the third day on Tuesday, following a multi-front Hamas attack on Israeli towns near the seaside territory. Hamas said the attack was in response to Israeli violations in the flashpoint Al-Aqsa Mosque complex in occupied East Jerusalem and increased settler violence.

OCHA: More than 263 thousand Palestinian citizens were displaced from their homes

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said that more than 263,934 citizens were displaced from their homes, as a result of the continuous Israeli bombing by air, land and sea on the Gaza Strip.

OCHA explained that the bombing operations destroyed more than 1,000 housing units, while causing severe damage to 560 units, rendering them uninhabitable.

It indicated that approximately 175,000 of those displaced people took refuge in 88 schools run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), and more than 14,500 others in 12 government schools, while about 74,000 are believed to be residing with relatives and neighbors or have taken refuge in churches and other facilities.

OCHA said, “The number of displaced people inside Gaza “represents the largest number of displaced people since the 50-day escalation in 2014.”

OCHA warned that "meeting basic needs has become more difficult for those who have not been displaced."

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed his concern after Israel announced the complete blockade, especially due to the already deteriorating humanitarian situation in the poor sector.

The number of martyrs among our people as a result of the ongoing and comprehensive Israeli occupation aggression against the Gaza Strip and the West Bank rose to 922 martyrs, while the number of wounded reached about 4,650 wounded.

According to data issued by the Ministry of Health and Hospitals, 900 martyrs were killed in the Gaza Strip, including 260 children and 230 women, and 4,500 others were injured with various injuries in the ongoing occupation raids throughout the Strip, since last Saturday. In the West Bank, 22 were martyred, and about 150 others were injured.

Palestinians scramble for safety as Israel pounds sealed-off Gaza Strip

Israeli occupation warplanes bombed neighborhood after neighborhood in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, reducing buildings to rubble and sending people scrambling for safety in the small, enclosed area now suffering severe retaliation for a deadly attack by Hamas militants over the weekend.

Humanitarian groups pleaded for the creation of corridors to get aid into Gaza and warned that hospitals overwhelmed with wounded people were running out of supplies. Israel has stopped entry of food, fuel and medicines into Gaza, and the sole remaining access from Egypt shut down Tuesday after airstrikes hit near the border crossing.

The war, which has claimed at least 1,900 lives on both sides, is expected to escalate. The weekend attack that Hamas said was retribution for worsening conditions for Palestinians under Israeli occupation has inflamed Israel’s determination to crush the group’s hold in Gaza. New exchanges of fire over Israel’s northern borders with militants in Lebanon and Syria on Tuesday pointed to the risk of an expanded regional conflict.

Hamas militants stormed into Israel on Saturday morning, slaying hundreds of residents in homes and streets near the Gaza border and bringing gunbattles to Israeli towns for the first time in decades. Hamas and other militant groups in Gaza hold about 150 soldiers and civilians hostage, according to Israel.

Israel stepped up its offensive on Tuesday, expanding the mobilization of reservists to 360,000. Israel’s military said it had regained effective control over areas Hamas attacked in its south and of the Gaza border.

A looming question is whether Israel will launch a ground assault into Gaza — a 40-kilometer-long (25-mile) strip of land wedged among Israel, Egypt and the Mediterranean Sea that is home to 2.3 million people and has been governed by Hamas since 2007.

Chinese FM activates emergency consular protection mechanism in Palestine and Israel

CGTN: The ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestinian armed groups in the Gaza Strip has led to heavy casualties on both sides. What’s China’s comment?

Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning: China is closely following the escalating conflict between Palestine and Israel. We’re deeply saddened by the civilian casualties and oppose and condemn acts that harm civilians. We oppose moves that escalate the conflict and destabilize the region and hope fighting will stop and peace will return soon. The international community needs to play an effective role to jointly help cool down the situation.

To end the cycle of conflict between Palestine and Israel, it is essential to restart the peace talks, implement the two-state solution and settle the Palestine question fully and properly through political means at an early date so as to take care of each party’s legitimate concerns. China will continue to work relentlessly with the international community towards this end.

CCTV: The scale of the current Palestinian-Israeli conflict has exceeded that of previous ones. Does the Foreign Ministry have information regarding the extent of its impact on Chinese nationals there and the local Chinese community? What help will China give them?

Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning: The Foreign Ministry activated the emergency consular protection mechanism immediately after the conflict broke out to coordinate and engage in work on protecting Chinese nationals and institutions in Palestine and Israel. Our Embassy in Israel and Office to Palestine have issued emergency safety alerts. They are staying in contact with Chinese nationals on the ground and doing everything they can to protect the safety of Chinese nationals and institutions there.

We remind Chinese nationals not to travel to Palestine or Israel and ask those already there to follow closely the security situation on the ground, take extra precaution, and avoid going outdoors. In case of emergencies, we urge them to contact the Chinese Embassy in Israel and the Office to Palestine for help.

Q: Fierce conflict has broken out between Israel and Palestinian armed groups in the Gaza Strip, causing massive casualties on both sides. Does China have any comment on this?

Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson: China is deeply concerned over the current escalation of tensions and violence between Palestine and Israel. We call on relevant parties to remain calm, exercise restraint and immediately end the hostilities to protect civilians and avoid further deterioration of the situation.

The recurrence of the conflict shows once again that the protracted standstill of the peace process cannot go on. The fundamental way out of the conflict lies in implementing the two-state solution and establishing an independent State of Palestine. The international community needs to act with greater urgency, step up input into the Palestine question, facilitate the early resumption of peace talks between Palestine and Israel, and find a way to bring about enduring peace. China will continue to work relentlessly with the international community towards that end.

Putin: War between Israel and Hamas is "an example of Washington's failure" in Middle East

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday that the war between Israel and Hamas showed the "failure" of US policy in the Middle East, considering that the establishment of a Palestinian state is "necessary."

“This is a clear example of the failure of American policy in the Middle East,” Putin said during a meeting in the Kremlin with Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani.

The Russian President accused the United States of having a "monopoly" on settling the conflict without taking into account "finding acceptable settlements for both parties." On the contrary, it "promoted its own ideas about the way forward and put pressure on the two parties."

He continued, "It did this every time without taking into account the basic interests of the Palestinian people."

He considered that "it is necessary to implement the United Nations Security Council resolutions related to the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state."

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Monday that establishing a Palestinian state is "the most reliable way to find a solution to the conflict" between Israel and Palestine.

In recent years, Russia has maintained good relations with the Israeli and Palestinian authorities, as well as with several regional players including Iran, Egypt and Syria.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Tuesday that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's scheduled visit to Russia is being prepared, but its date has not yet been set.

Palestinian Prisoner Club: Considering Gaza detainees illegal combatants is against international law

The Prisoner's Club said that the issuance by the Minister of the Israeli Occupation Army, Yoav Galant, of a decision deeming detainees from the Gaza Strip illegal combatants, is a dangerous matter, as it denies them the status of prisoners of war, and is considered a violation of international humanitarian law.

According to the media officer at the Prisoner’s Club, Amani Farahna, international law and the Third Geneva Convention stipulate that detained fighters are prisoners of war, and they are dealt with accordingly, and this obliges it not to investigate them, and not to bring them to trial, stressing that Israel, with this decision, has exceeded what the law stipulates in the event of conflict and war.

Yesterday, Army Minister Galant issued a decision stating that Palestinian detainees from the Gaza Strip are illegal combatants based on the “Unlawful Combatant Law” issued in 2002. The order stipulated that detainees from the Gaza Strip be detained in a camp called “Sdet Yaman,” near From Beersheba.

In turn, Tala Nasser, a lawyer at the Addameer Foundation for Prisoner Care and Human Rights, said that this decision, which considers the detainees who were arrested from Gaza during the aggression as illegal combatants, is dangerous, because according to it any citizen can be detained for an open period, without an indictment being filed, and a judicial appearance before the central cour every six months, under the pretext that his file is confidential, and neither the detainee nor the lawyer can access it, in addition to arbitrarily detaining him administratively, as is the case in administrative detention.

She stressed that this decision violates international humanitarian law, which considers detainees from the Gaza Strip to be prisoners of war, and is in violation of the Third Geneva Convention, pointing out that the number of detainees from the Gaza Strip during the aggression on Gaza exceeded 50 detainees.

She demanded that all detainees be considered prisoners of war, stressing that there is communication with the institutions concerned with prisoners in the West Bank and Gaza to unify the discourse and work on the lawyers’ refusal to deal with any detainee inside the court as an illegal combatant, and to confirm that they are prisoners of war.

Israel heads towards a national emergency government with Netanyahu to form it

The Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported, Tuesday, October 10, 2023, that the heads of the government coalition in Tel Aviv unanimously supported the formation of an “emergency government” and authorized Netanyahu to work on its formation in conjunction with the war waged by the occupation against the Palestinian resistance.

This comes after a member of the extreme right in Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's coalition government called for the inclusion of politicians opposed to the government, as part of efforts to stabilize Israel, which is waging war on Gaza, as Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said in a blog post on social media: National emergency government now!

The head of the “National Camp” bloc in the Knesset, Ze’ev Elkin, said, according to what was reported by Palestinian media: “We asked to form an emergency government from the beginning, and the ball has been in Netanyahu’s hands for several days, and we are prepared for this matter because it is very important for the internal bloc, and it is important (as a message) to our enemies."

There is no partisan policy in this, and we have not set coalition conditions, nor are we looking for positions, but we want one thing, which is to influence decisions, and I hope this will happen during the day, and there is no reason it did not happen last Saturday evening.”

Gantz conditioned his joining the government on the formation of a mini-ministerial council (cabinet) to manage the war, while the Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, rejected this condition, saying that “the former army chiefs of staff, Gantz and Eisenkot, did not demonstrate capabilities that justify relying on them, and they are partners in the failure that led to The sudden Palestinian attack, last Saturday.

For his part, opposition leader Yair Lapid made it a condition for joining an emergency government to remove the two extremist and fascist ministers, Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben Gvir, from the cabinet.

This comes at a time when Israeli occupation aircraft renewed their raids on various areas in the Gaza Strip, targeting its north and south. The occupation army said that it bombed 200 targets in Gaza and Khan Yunis during the night.

On Monday, October 9, 2023, the occupation army carried out a massacre in the Jabalia camp in the Gaza Strip, and the Ministry of Health in the Strip said that dozens of martyrs and wounded were killed in an Israeli air strike on the camp.

Confrontations continue between Palestinian resistance factions and the occupation. At dawn on Saturday, October 7, 2023, Hamas and other Palestinian factions in Gaza launched the “Al-Aqsa Flood” military operation against Israel. “In response to the continuing attacks by Israeli forces and settlers against the Palestinian people, their property and their sanctities,” especially Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem.

The resistance factions were able to penetrate into many settlements in the Gaza envelope area, and in return, the Israeli army began Operation “Iron Swords” and continues to launch intensive raids on many areas in Gaza, which is inhabited by more than two million Palestinians who suffer from deteriorating living conditions as a result of an ongoing Israeli siege since 2007.

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported, in its latest statistics as of this morning, that the number of martyrs had risen to 788 and wounded to 4,100 as a result of Israeli strikes since the start of the Al-Aqsa Deluge Battle.

While Israeli media reported that the number of Israeli deaths in the confrontation with the Palestinian factions reached 900, and 2,616 were wounded.
