NYPD is on "alert" ahead of Trump's court appearance

New York hasn't lost any of its legendary pulse: its police were put on "alert" ahead of former US President Donald Trump 's appearance in court Tuesday to tell him he's been charged with a crime over paying a porn star to buy her silence.

And the New York City police, which includes 36,000 policemen and 19,000 civilians, ordered all its members and officers to spread out in their uniforms on public roads for a week, according to police sources who spoke to NBC.

In response to questions from AFP, a New York Police Department spokesman said via email that "the officers have been put on alert and the agency remains ready to respond, if necessary, and will ensure that everyone can exercise their right in a peaceful manner."

"But at the present time there are no credible threats," added a police spokesman for the city, which has a history of violence.

In Manhattan, the number of pro- or anti-Trump demonstrators did not exceed dozens. A number of his opponents concentrated in front of Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue in New York and raised a banner that read, "Arrest Trump."

And that while another person was walking in the vicinity of the tower, carrying two banners that read, "Imprison him ... and throw away the key."

A third person also stated that "no one is above the law".

Then in this vibrant neighborhood in the heart of Manhattan, Neil Greenfield was taking pictures with Trump supporters who unfurled a banner about the 2024 presidential election.

After being shocked by the indictment, which was announced Thursday evening in a historic precedent, the former president intends to "fight" to the end in order to drop the prosecutions launched against him by Manhattan prosecutor Alvin Bragg, according to what his client, Joseph Takopina, said.

Trump, who lives in Florida, will appear Tuesday in a Manhattan court to be formally informed of the charges related to the $130,000 payment at the end of 2016 to pornographic film actress Stormy Daniels to buy her silence.

Trump supporters, including Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, plan to demonstrate Tuesday in front of the courthouse during his appearance.
Susan, who refuses to give her full name, says she is "ashamed of the judiciary in America." And she adds in court that what Trump did was "a simple misdemeanor, not a crime. This is absurd."

In front of the Palace of Justice, which was placed under strict protection ten days ago by New York police and judicial police, Mary Fish, 50, expresses her regret for "the path that America has taken," which is "not a path that leads to peace or unity."

But this woman, who did not reveal her profession, accuses Donald Trump, who overturned the measures of the political system and the balance of power in the United States, of being the "cause of divisions" in the country.

Pilar Banos, a 72-year-old Spanish tourist visiting Manhattan, believes that the criminal prosecution of a former US president creates a "strange" atmosphere in the city.

Trump, who aspires to return to the White House, denounced the "false and shameful" accusation, which he considered to have been orchestrated by the Democrats before the presidential campaign.

The billionaire, who has caused a coup since 2015 in the political system in the United States, resorted to his social network "Truth Social" to denounce his opponents and wrote, "They are pursuing me in a weak and shameful way because they know that I am on the side of the American people and that I cannot get a fair trial in New York." The Captive Club calls for the widest participation in the campaign to release the prisoner, Walid Daqqa

The Captive Club called for the widest participation in the campaign to release the prisoner Walid Daqqa, who recently completed his 37th year in the occupation prisons , entered his 38th year, and today faces a serious health condition in the Israeli (Barzilai) Hospital, as a result of his recent serious health symptoms, in addition to his suffering from type A rare cancer of the bone marrow known as myelofibrosis.

The Prisoners Club added in a statement that the message of the campaign is to restore our demand for the freedom of our prisoners, especially the patients who face the systematic crime of medical negligence (slow killing), which the occupation has worked for decades to develop its tools to target prisoners physically and psychologically.

And the club continued, that the chronic health condition that dozens of prisoners have reached, is nothing but the result of a number of systematic and fixed tools against them, which they actually face from the moment of arrest, and the systematic delaying process is the most prominent of these tools, because every procedure that a sick prisoner needs to follow up on his health condition takes months. years, including medical examinations and surgeries.

The Captive Club affirmed that the message of the prisoners today is not only to ensure that treatment is provided to them in prisons, but rather that the demand for freedom is the basis, and we recall their constant question about their fate (for how long)?, after some of them have exceeded a total of more than 40 years in the occupation prisons, The prisoner, Daqqa, is one of the 23 prisoners arrested since before the signing of the Oslo agreement, in addition to (11) old prisoners who faced detention since before the signing of the Oslo agreement, and they were released in the (Wafaa Al-Ahrar) deal and were re-arrested in 2014.

Palestine protests the British-Israeli roadmap agreement

The Palestinian Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Hussam Zomlot , conveyed the protest of the State of Palestine against the 2030 road map that the United Kingdom signed with Israel yesterday, as it constitutes an injustice to the rights of the Palestinian people.

During his meeting with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Lord Tariq Ahmed, at the headquarters of the British Foreign Office in London yesterday, Zomlot affirmed the Palestinian side's rejection of what was stated in the terms of the bilateral road map with Israel, describing it as a serious violation of international law and Britain's commitments to Palestinian rights according to international resolutions.

He added that it constitutes a dangerous precedent, as it did not mention the geographical borders of the agreement, the obligation to end the occupation on the 1967 borders and the illegality of settler colonialism, and Palestine was mentioned only in the context of improving the living conditions of the Palestinians.

Ambassador Zomlot expressed Palestine's rejection of Britain's opposition to the Palestinian efforts to address the International Criminal and Justice Courts and the United Nations Human Rights Council, calling on the British government to have a clearer position on the Palestinian issue and a more influential position in line with international law and agreements.

In turn, the British minister issued a statement on his Twitter account after this meeting, in which he expressed "the steadfastness of the United Kingdom's position on the two-state solution on the 1967 borders and its opposition to unilateral steps, including the construction of illegal Israeli settlements, according to international law."

Ambassador Zomlot, in turn, responded on his Twitter account, "This position needs a practical translation and concrete steps that include recognition of the State of Palestine with East Jerusalem as its capital, and the imposition of sanctions on the occupying state, including the ban on colonial settlement products."

The National Bureau: Land Day comes in light of expanding settlements and a harsh siege of cities and villages

Forty-seven years have passed since the Eternal Land Day , and the Palestinian land is still groaning under the weight of the occupation policies that have turned the Palestinian cities and villages in the West Bank into separate and isolated islands and ghettos, after the settlements raged, the number of settlers increased, and their violations and crimes multiplied.

Settlement schemes continue and escalate, and the West Bank is witnessing seasons of continuous ethnic cleansing in Jerusalem, the Palestinian Jordan Valley, southern Hebron, and other areas in the West Bank through the policy of land confiscation, the establishment of settlements, and the construction of apartheid bypass roads in Palestinian lands, as well as the continuous demolition of homes in occupied Jerusalem and in the designated areas. (C), where the occupation practices systematic displacement, while allowing settlers to build unauthorized in dozens of settlement outposts and enacts racist laws in the Knesset, the latest of which was the abolition of the disengagement law, which allowed settlers to return to 4 settlements. evacuated in the northern West Bank.

On Earth Day this year, as in every year, the Palestinians affirmed their adherence to their land and their high quest to defend it, and commemorate this immortal day amidst a harsh siege of their cities and villages. Many Palestinian towns and villages in different parts of the West Bank carried out activities to commemorate this day when the Palestinians express their Their adherence to their land and their resistance to the Judaizing settlement project that targets it.

Dozens of citizens were injured as a result of the Israeli occupation forces' suppression of these activities in the West Bank, as a result of live and rubber bullets and gas bombs that were heavily thrown at the citizens participating in these activities, which condemn settlements and the continuous Judaization of their lands.

On the occasion of the anniversary of Land Day, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics issued a report in which it said that the year 2022 witnessed a significant increase in the pace of building and expanding Israeli settlements, as the occupation authorities approved about 83 settlement plans to build more than 22,000 settlement units throughout the West Bank, including Jerusalem.

He pointed out that the number of Israeli settlement sites and military bases reached 483 sites until the end of the year 2021 in the West Bank, distributed by 151 settlements, 25 inhabited outposts considered as neighborhoods of existing settlements, 163 outposts outside the settlement borders, and 144 other sites as industrial, tourist and service areas and camps for the occupation army. This is at a time when the occupation authorities and settlers, under the protection of the occupation army, carried out 8,724 attacks against Palestinians and their property during the year 2022, and a total of 378 demolitions, affecting 953 facilities in the West Bank, including the city of Jerusalem. Most of the demolitions were concentrated in the Jerusalem governorate, with 118 demolitions. by 31%.

The Israeli occupation exploits the classification of lands according to the Oslo Accords (A, B, and C) to tighten control over Palestinian lands, especially in areas classified (C), which are completely subject to security, planning and construction issues under the control of the Israeli occupation, as the Israeli occupation directly exploits 76% of the total The area classified as (C), the regional councils of the settlements control 63% of it, while the area of the areas of influence in the Israeli settlements in the West Bank (including the closed areas designated for the expansion of these settlements) amounted to about 537 square kilometers at the end of 2022, representing about 10% of the area. The area of the West Bank, while the areas confiscated for the purposes of military bases and military training sites represent about 18% of the area of the West Bank at 1,016 km2, in addition to the annexation and expansion wall that isolated more than 10% of the area of the West Bank, and more than 219 Palestinian communities were damaged as a result of the construction of The wall, which is about 714 km long, and since 1967, the Israeli occupation authorities have confiscated about 353 thousand dunums of Palestinian lands and classified them as natural reserves in preparation for their seizure.

With regard to settlement construction plans in Jerusalem and other areas of the West Bank, they do not stop, as if they are in a race against time, in an attempt to create new facts that will accelerate the processes of Judaization and Israelization, especially in the Holy City.

The occupation municipality has submitted plans to build thousands of new settlement units in the Holy City, and the plans include projects to build hundreds of homes on the lands of the town of Abu Dis, which is partially located within the borders of the Jerusalem municipality, in addition to more homes in and around the village of Um Tuba, southeast of Jerusalem. in the column header.

The deputy mayor of the far-right occupation, Arbih King, is the driving force behind the new settlement plans, with the support of Jewish investors and private groups, with the help of officials in the occupation municipality. These plans would radically change the demographic character of Jerusalem, and create new friction points in occupied city.

In the town of Abu Dis, the planners intend to build between 250 and 450 new settlement units on two plots of land that a Jewish group claims to be Jewish-owned and dates back to 1920, with the support of the "Ateret Cohanim" organization, which is an extreme right-wing group that buys lands to settle Jewish settlers in particular. In Jerusalem and in the village of "Umm Tuba", where plans are underway to build 400 settlement units, which is the first organized attempt to find a Jewish presence adjacent to the town.

The occupation authorities are also looking forward to opening a completely new settlement neighborhood at the foot of a hill between "Umm Tuba" and the "Gilo" settlement in Jerusalem, and in the "Ras Al-Amud" neighborhood, planners are now looking to add another 140 settlement units to sell to Jewish settlers in two new housing projects.

The rest of the areas are not spared from the settlement monster. In a new settlement plan that isolates the Bedouin communities and perpetuates the suffering of Khirbet Umm al-Khair, the settlement plan, which was announced and deposited with official maps, robs hundreds of dunams from the southeastern side of the lands of the city of Yatta and the lands of Umm al-Khair, and isolates the Bedouin communities in This is an old plan that was revived with the aim of expanding the settlement of "Carmel" and organizing the lands that are seized according to this detailed plan from public buildings, opening streets and facilitating construction for settlers at the expense of private lands, especially in Khirbet Umm al-Khair. And the Hathleen family in particular.

The "Carmel" settlement, which appeared in the early eighties of the last century as a very small settlement outpost, is expanding every day in all directions until the area it controls today has reached about 2,000 dunums, in addition to lands with an area of approximately (6,000) dunums as a vital field.

In the northern Jordan Valley, a group of settlers fenced off pastoral lands in the Abu al-Qandoul area, south of Ain al-Hilweh, in preparation for their seizure. At a time when settlers established a new settlement outpost, on the eastern side of Plain Al-Baqi’a, where three barns were established in the “Al-Hanou” area, and they turned it into an outpost, noting that the settlers had brought a group of cows a week ago to the same area as a prelude to seizing them, and it is expected that For the settlement outpost to seize lands estimated at 1,800 dunums, bearing in mind that these lands are owned by citizens from the town of Tammun.

In the village of Ain al-Bayda, in the northern Jordan Valley, settlers continued digging and repair work in the vicinity of the Ain Bleibel water spring, in preparation for seizing it, noting that this spring is used by citizens to irrigate their crops.

The town of Hawara, south of Nablus, is still the target of attacks and provocations by settlers in order to protect the occupation army, which turned the town into a military barracks. The head of the Northern West Bank Settlement Council, Yossi Dagan, and Member of Knesset Tzivi Sukkot, opened an office for them in "Einabus" square near Hawara, to express, according to their claim, their protest against Not securing the settlers crossing from the place.

The occupation forces closed roads and secondary entrances in the town, and settlers attacked Palestinian homes and vehicles in its streets and attacked Palestinian homes and properties, which led to property damage.
On the other hand, the occupation army approved the request of the "Nakhla" settler organization to allow the settlers to organize the largest demonstration in the northern West Bank in years, on the tenth of April, and dozens of settler organizations will participate in it. Settlement on Mount Sabih in the lands of the town of Beita, and the army will provide guards for the march that takes place in conjunction with the Jewish Passover holiday on the tenth of next April, in which the chief rabbis of the settlers will participate in addition to ministers and Knesset members from the right.

Dozens of Jewish organizations announced their participation in the march, and the participants will call on the Israeli government to fulfill its pledges to allow settlers to return to the "Avitar" outpost, after the Civil Administration completes the process of surveying the land on which it is built.

With the rise of the extreme and fascist right to power in Israel after the recent Knesset elections, more advanced international positions began to take shape in shedding light on the violations and crimes of the occupation and its settlers. The Human Rights Council issued a report on Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories in 1967, including East Jerusalem and the occupied Syrian Golan, in which it stated that settlers live illegally in 279 Israeli settlements and outposts in the occupied West Bank, including 14 settlements in occupied East Jerusalem and that 147 of these settlements were illegal outposts under Israeli domestic law.

The report documented the existence of a relationship between settlement expansion and settler attacks against Palestinians during the past decade, indicating that the United Nations verified 3,372 incidents of settler violence that injured 1,222 Palestinians, and that Israel failed to investigate violent crimes committed by settlers and Israeli forces against Palestinians.

The official concerned with human rights in Palestine, Francesca Albani, also called on the international community to hold Israel accountable and punish it for its actions, according to a press release issued by the United Nations, and the official said in her statement that "the wave of violence that has swept the West Bank since the beginning of this year is the inevitable result of the occupation of Gaza." My repression has no end in sight and the culture of lawlessness and impunity that Israel has nurtured and characterized.”

The European Union also said, according to a statement issued by the Office of the European Union Representative in Palestine, that the Israeli authorities demolished 953 Palestinian homes in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, during 2022, the highest number since 2016.

The union indicated that "953 buildings were demolished or seized in the West Bank, including the city of East Jerusalem, which is the highest number recorded since 2016, and that more than 80 percent of the demolished buildings are located in the classified area (C), and 28 were displaced and damaged." One thousand and 446 people were as a result of the demolitions, and that 101 of the demolished buildings were funded by the European Union, and the number of buildings that were demolished by their owners in East Jerusalem by an Israeli decision jumped from 34 percent in 2021 to 51 percent in 2022.

The first judicial conviction in the case of the fatal shooting during the filming of the movie "Rust"

The first assistant director of "Rust," the filming of which saw an accidental shooting by actor and producer Alec Baldwin that took the life of a cinematographer, was given a suspended six-month prison sentence Friday after a plea bargain.

This is the first conviction in the case, for negligence in the use of a deadly weapon.

It was this first assistant, Dave Holz, who, on October 21, 2021, handed Alec Baldwin a weapon that was supposed to be loaded with chelate bullets, which the actor activated, killing Helena Hutchins and wounding director Joel Sousa.

Dave Halls, 63, gave him the gun and told Baldwin he was "cool," meaning, in Hollywood parlance, not dangerous.

Alec Baldwin, along with the film's weapons officer Hannah Gutierrez Reid, have been charged with involuntary manslaughter and face up to 18 months in prison and a $5,000 fine.

The police investigation focused specifically on determining how to obtain live ammunition used in this shooting at a New Mexico ranch, which is strictly prohibited to avoid such incidents.

The police concluded that Hannah Gutierrez Reid placed the ammunition in the weapon used by Alec Baldwin, rather than a claw bullet.

Attorney General Carey Morrissey concluded during a hearing Friday in a New Mexico state court that Dave Holz, who also served as the security coordinator for the low-budget film shoot and was therefore the "last line of defence," did not "check every cartridge in the gun to make sure it was faulty." stuffed".

Alec Baldwin (64 years old), who is especially famous for the series "30 Rock", has always said that the filming officials repeatedly assured him that his weapon was not dangerous.

By pleading guilty Friday, Dave Holz agrees to testify in the future on this matter.

Eight immigrants died trying to enter the United States secretly

Canadian police announced that the bodies of eight people from two families were found in a swamp on Canadian soil after they tried to enter the United States illegally.

They belong to two different families, one Canadian-Roman and the other Indian. Their bodies were found not far from an overturned boat owned by a man who is still missing and belongs to the Akwesasne Aboriginal group scattered in Canada and the United States.
"Eight bodies were recovered from the water," local police chief Sean Dollod told a news conference on Friday.

And after the discovery of the bodies of six people on Thursday, including a child under the age of three, "two other bodies were found, a Canadian infant of Romanian origin and a woman who apparently holds Indian nationality," according to Duloud.

Canadian authorities believe that these two families were trying to enter the United States illegally from Canada.

"We believe they were trying to enter the United States illegally from Canada," said local deputy police chief Lee Ann O'Brien at a news conference, confirming that they had arrived in Canada legally.

A helicopter and diver teams from various police departments have been dispatched to the scene to assist in the search.

The territory of this indigenous group lies on the banks of the Saint-Laurent River about 120 kilometers southwest of Montreal and stretches between Quebec, Ontario, and New York.

"It is unimaginable what the families of these individuals are going through," Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Friday morning.

Initially, the authorities were looking for the owner of the boat, which has been missing since Wednesday, when rescuers found the bodies of the two families.

The authorities said that the weather conditions were very bad, noting that rain, frost and strong winds occurred during the attempt of the boat, which was described as "very small", to cross.

"What we do know is that these trips are sometimes facilitated by people from here who are often vulnerable young men tempted by profit and exploited by criminal organizations," added Sean Dollod.

Local police said they had recently noticed "an increase in the number of people crossing Akwesasne to enter the United States", with 48 crossings recorded since the start of the year and 80 arrests.

The United States and Canada signed an agreement on tackling the growing problem of illegal immigration along their border during President Joe Biden's visit to Ottawa last week.

The agreement calls for undocumented asylum seekers who cross the border to be sent back to Canada, while Ottawa has committed to taking in more immigrants .

The deal has drawn heavy criticism from migrant rights groups, who believe it poses more dangers to those trying to cross the border illegally.

First in the Arab world... Qatar tops the safety and prosperity index for the year 2023

The State of Qatar ranked first in the Arab world in the list of the safest and most prosperous for the year 2023, a classification prepared by the Arabian Gulf Center for Studies and Research (csrgulf), and it includes 19 Arab countries.

The index is based on 17 sub-criteria: personal safety, response to the repercussions of the war in Ukraine, and exposure to the risks of the global economy entering a state of recession.

As well as the index of political stability, per capita income, state of peace, levels of violence, crime, poverty, development of public debt, unemployment, growth expectations, levels of inflation, effectiveness of government performance, elements of happiness, financial reserves, wealth of future generations, and other criteria.

According to the same classification, the indicators of safety and prosperity in Qatar have improved in most fields, and it has distinguished itself from the rest of the Arab countries in improving the infrastructure, especially digital, enhancing the efficiency of human development, and developing traditional and distance education systems.

Qatar's unparalleled success in organizing the World Cup, the most prominent test during 2022, established its position and clearly reflected its development renaissance and the recovery of non-oil sectors, especially tourism and services. The World Cup 2022 enhanced its attractiveness as a promising platform for foreign investments, with a noticeable improvement in its position as a safe environment and within ideal levels of coexistence, as It was able to reduce security risks to zero, and Qatar benefited from the revival of tourism, investments and intra-trade between Qatar and the GCC countries. Chances of prosperity increased and indicators of confidence in the future of Qatari security and prosperity were further strengthened.

Despite the challenges of public debt growth, the Qatari government succeeded in reducing its indebtedness ratio, taking advantage of the improvement in its energy revenues thanks to the fueling of the Ukrainian war on energy prices, which contributed to increasing the volume and value of Qatar's liquefied gas exports to international markets.

In general, Qatar recorded a noticeable improvement in most of the sectors that affect the life of the Qatari individual, which reflects positively on the safety and optimism of the Qatari citizen in the future.

The Ukrainian war and the repercussions of the Corona pandemic affected global food production and access to it, and this represented a source of great concern and danger to various countries and their ability to achieve stable and sustainable food security. In this regard, Qatar has managed well its food security challenges thanks to effective policies, social structure and proactive measures as well as encouraging local production.

And just as the state strengthened the response to the global economic recession, it also worked to improve indicators of human development, education, progress in solutions to the challenges of quality education, keeping pace with the requirements of the knowledge society, excellence in investing in human intelligence, and ensuring a promising future for tomorrow's generations, while ensuring the stability of the long-term well-being vision and improving the response to adaptation. with climate change. The assessment of the safety situation in Qatar remains advanced in most indicators, while the prospects for prosperity and stability remain encouraging in 2023.
According to the classification, the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council maintained their top spot in the list of the safest and most prosperous Arab peoples, as Qataris continued to lead for the third year in a row in the classification of the safest and most prosperous Arab peoples with a bright and optimistic outlook for 2023. The Emiratis, in turn, maintained their second rank for the third year in a row compared to the classification The year is 2022.

It was remarkable that the Omanis ranked third, compared to the fifth in the 2022 classification, thanks to the improvement of various indicators, while the Kuwaitis ranked fourth, compared to the third in the 2022 classification.

While the Bahrainis also fell behind by a rank to the fifth place, while the Saudis maintained the sixth rank.

On the other hand, the Moroccans made progress and rose to seventh place this year compared to the eighth place in the 2022 classification, which went to the Algerians, who in turn advanced in the ranking compared to the ninth place in the 2022 classification. From the twelfth place last year to the ninth place this year in the 2023 classification, thanks to the improvement in the elements of economic and social security, despite the persistence of many challenges. On the other hand, the Jordanians declined in the ranking by about three places, from the seventh place in 2022 to the tenth place in the 2023 classification due to various factors related to the economic and social situation.

It was remarkable that the Tunisians were late in this year's ranking, from the tenth to the eleventh place, due to the fragility of political and economic stability, despite the progress in fighting corruption.

Thanks to various factors, the Iraqis maintained the 13th rank this year with a stimulating outlook despite the challenges. The Libyans settled in the 14th rank, motivated by optimism about improving growth expectations. The ranking of the Lebanese has also stabilized, ranking fifteenth this year, despite the deterioration of living conditions, but with a slight improvement in the assessment of security risks. The Palestinians maintained the sixteenth rank in the ranking due to the continuing risks of conflict with the Israelis and the decline in Arab support. The ranking of Syrians in the classification stabilized at the seventeenth rank due to the increase in the challenges specific to safety and security.

While the Yemenis advanced to the eighteenth rank despite the poor humanitarian conditions, thanks to the continuation of the war truce, on the other hand, the Sudanese rank was delayed to the nineteenth and last rank due to the violence and conflict that erupted in 2022. Due to the lack of data, Somalia, Djibouti, Comoros and South Sudan were not classified. Sudan.

The family of martyr Nour Jarrar misses him during the month of Ramadan

With patience and faith, the citizen Salwa Jarrar resists the pain, agony and heartbreak that fills her life, and with all strength she seeks to suppress her feelings within her, during the blessed month of Ramadan, in the absence of her martyr son Noureddine Abdullah Jarrar, and the loss of her son Muhammad, who was subjected to a traffic accident in addition to a medical error that led to his death. .

Jarrar says, five difficult and bitter years, which I lived with the loss of my first son Muhammad, and the most difficult thing is that I live the days of Ramadan, in light of the loss of him and Noor, but I have no choice but to suppress my pain, my pain, and my inner pain, I cannot show it to my children at the Ramadan table, because I want to Strengthen them and give them patience so that they are steadfast and steadfast. This is our destiny as a Palestinian people.

Before and during Ramadan, the mother, Umm Nour, spends long hours of her day in his private room, which she decorated with his pictures, memories, and all the legacy he left for her. In our entire home, since the loss of my son Nour as a martyr, and Muhammad accepted him, we have lost many of the rituals that we used to have with his beautiful presence and the atmosphere that used to fill our lives with joy. My heart cries every moment for his separation, but I feel that his spirit accompanies us. As he used to have a special atmosphere even in our neighborhood and not just for our family, he used to lead a campaign before Ramadan with his companions to clean the mosque, decorate the neighborhood with beautiful lights, and always work to help the poor and communicate with the families of the martyrs.

And she adds: "Whenever I hear the loudspeakers at the end of every Ramadan day, I stand at the gate of my house and remember as if I see him alive. In addition to his hard work, especially in Ramadan, he is always keen to bring dates and sweets with him daily, and the Ramadan table is adorned with his presence, his spirit, and his great love for us and for everyone."

She pointed out that Nour had always wished to visit Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque and eat breakfast there, but he got what he wished for, which is the martyrdom that I blessed him with, and they prayed to God every day to accept it.

What increases the pain and anger of the mother, Umm Nour, is the absence of a grave to visit the beloved of her heart, whose body was kidnapped by the occupation after his martyrdom. And only the occupation declared his martyrdom, we want to know his true fate, and if he rose, then where is his body being held, especially after he completed his 20th year in the grip of the occupation,” stressing that his detention is a major crime, and a means of punishment and revenge from us.

And she adds: We do not have information about my detained son Nour, and I have the right to know his whereabouts, and despite that, I reserved a grave for my son, next to his brother Muhammad, and we wrote on it a specific grave for the detained martyr, whose body is Nour Jarrar .

On January 2, 2002, Nour was born in the city of Jenin , in which he grew up and was brought up, to be the second in his family of 5 members. He lived in a modest family that preserved the customs and traditions. His father owned a carpentry shop, and his mother was a housewife, and he taught in her schools, as well. He benefited his father until the tenth grade, then he got involved at an early age, in the fields of work of his own free will, he worked in nurseries and agriculture, then he joined his father in the carpentry, until he settled in the profession of delivering orders by means of his motorcycle, in which he worked until his death.

His father says, "Since he was young, he was distinguished by intelligence, acumen, and multiple skills, including a love of knowledge, dismantling and reassembling anything he saw, even complex things, and he loved diligence, activity, and work, with determination, ambition, and a desire to learn all things in life."

As his mother says, "My relationship with him was strong, and it was not limited to being a mother's relationship with her son, but rather a sister and friend at all times. I was the supportive and closest mother to him in all matters of his life, and I always hope to see him happy, and dream of his wedding."

The last time, the mother saw Jarrar, Nour, hours before his martyrdom at dawn on 8/16/2021, but she remembers that her feelings and longing for her during the hours of the preceding day were different and strange from the rest of the days, and she says: “I did not expect that he would be in My life and his moments in our house, and his sitting with me on that day will be the last, so after he came and rested for the afternoon, he went out as usual, and I asked him not to be late, and I told him: I miss you and I want to sit with you, and my longing on that day was strange, and I was surprised by my condition and my longing for him in a way Strange and different from normal days.. He came in the middle of the night, showered and perfumed, and slept on his bed that I left him in, and I was reassured that he would not leave the house, but he was not late, as I discovered later. When he heard of the occupation’s storming of the city and camp of Jenin, he fled from his bed towards the confrontation with great care. Not paying attention to him because he fears us and our feelings.”

According to the witnesses, Nour used to participate in resisting the occupation during every operation and invasion, secretly driving his bike, sometimes participating in the night confusion groups in monitoring the occupation and warning the resistance fighters, and at other times advancing the ranks with courage and daring, and at dawn that day, and when he learned of the new incursion, he was not late. So he went to the entrance of the camp, and clashed with the occupation, who had infiltrated under the cover of darkness, and occupied the buildings and set up a sniper squad in them, and while he was valiantly confronting the occupation, he was surprised by a sniper with his treacherous bullets, which did not stop after he fell to the ground covered in blood, so the snipers continued shooting at every body that moved towards Nour with what Amjad Azmy was in a nearby area, so he risked his life and rushed to reach him, and when he tried to help him and pull him out, the bullets surrounded them and he joined him after he was wounded, until the occupation forces managed to reach them, detained them and took them with them, and later announced their death. While the two young men, Saleh Ammar and Raed Abu Seif, rose during the operation.

All these events took place and continued until the time of the dawn prayer, without the knowledge of Nour’s family, until the calls continued that sparked the panic and fear of his parents, and when they arrived at the hospital, it became clear that the occupation had kidnapped Nour, and taken him with him, so that his family would experience the great shock, but she suppressed her pain for the sake of his soul, and his mother said "I was saddened and affected, but I remembered his love for the homeland, his constant talk about martyrdom and his request for her, and his refusal to marry, so I was patient and counted him as a martyr."

England Championship: Arsenal to approach the title, and City in front of the Liverpool test

Unlike in recent years, the goals of Manchester City and its guest Liverpool differ when they meet on Saturday at the summit of the twenty-ninth stage of the English Premier League , while leaders Arsenal will try to take advantage of any stumbling to chase it closer to its first title since 2004.
While the confrontations between City and Liverpool in recent seasons have come in the context of the struggle for the title, only City has remained in it this season, while Liverpool is content with competing for a qualifying seat for the Champions League.
And Arsenal will be waiting for any lapse from this summit when it receives Leeds United on Saturday, with the league wheel returning to rotation after a hiatus of nearly 12 days due to the international window.
With 10 matches left, Arsenal appears on the right path towards a first league title in 19 years, after achieving six straight victories in the Premier League, moving 8 points away from City II (69 vs. 61).
The London club played more matches than its pursuer and had to travel to Manchester to face the men of Spanish coach Pep Guardiola on April 26, but his fate remains in his hands.
Few expected Arsenal to be so close to glory this season after failing to achieve the final fourth place qualifying for the Champions League in the closing stages of last season.
But the Spanish coach, Mikel Arteta, did a great job with a group that did not include loud names, but was full of passion and fighting spirit.
"We have the right level of competition and cooperation because they really want to help each other, but they also have to challenge each other," Arteta said ahead of Leeds' visit to north London.
He continued, "The secret is perhaps the unity and teamwork between them. They like to spend time with each other, they like to play with each other. This is very powerful."
Manchester City refuses to give up its title without a fight, as it won its last six matches in all competitions and scored 13 goals in its last matches against Leipzig in the Champions League and Burnley in the Cup.
But there is little margin for error in City's bid for a fifth league title in six seasons.
City enjoys a relatively easier journey than Arsenal on paper in the final stages of the league, but its focus is dispersed in the quarter-finals of the Champions League at an early summit against Bayern Munich and the semi-finals of the FA Cup against Sheffield United, while the Gunners bid farewell to a continental European League and from the cup.
For City to remain close to Arsenal, they must overcome sixth-placed Liverpool for the first time in the league in two years.
City may enter the confrontation without star attacker Erling Haaland, who was absent from the Norwegian national team recently due to a thigh injury.
Behind the first two places, the competition is raging for the last two places that qualify for the Champions League. Manchester United ranks third with 50 points from 26 matches, compared to 47 for Newcastle fifth from the same number and 49 for Tottenham fourth from 28 matches.
Therefore, the match between Newcastle and its guest Manchester, Sunday, will be very important in the struggle for the continental positions.
The Red Devils are playing the match in the absence of Brazilian anchor player Casemiro, who was sent off during the tie with Southampton in the league, which led to his suspension for four matches instead of three, being the second expulsion this season.
He carried out the first match in the victory over Fulham in the quarter-finals of the cup, to keep United competing on three fronts this season after achieving the League Cup title, as he faces Seville, Spain, in the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
As for Tottenham, it will defeat Everton at the end of the stage, Monday, in the first test since the separation from coach Antonio Conte on Sunday, after the deterioration of the results and fiery statements from the Italian against the team and the management of the London club.
As for Chelsea, who are in tenth place, he is looking forward to returning to the winning streak, after he settled for a draw at home with Everton before the break.
The relegation struggle is witnessing an epic battle, as four points separate the twelfth-placed Crystal Palace, who appointed Roy Hodgson to replace French Patrick Vieira, and bottom Southampton.

The owners of the land equalized before the whistle at the end of the first half from a penalty kick that was successfully executed by Matteo Guendouzi after a handball inside the area on Montpellier defender Mamadou Sacco (44).
Despite his stumbling, Marseille managed to keep his record free from defeat against Montpellier in his last eight matches at home in the league (4 wins against 4 draws), knowing that his last loss dates back to August 17, 2014 (zero-2).

Palestinian factions condemn the execution of the Osaibi young man by the occupation

On Saturday, Palestinian factions condemned the execution by the Israeli occupation forces of a young man , Muhammad al-Osaibi , from the town of Hura in the occupied Negev, at the Chain Gate in Al-Aqsa Mosque , and the attack on Jerusalemites.

The " Hamas " movement, according to its spokesman, Hazem Qassem, considered the assassination of Al-Asaibi as part of the religious war waged by the occupation against the people of Jerusalem and the holy sites.

Qassem said, "The occupation is trying to take revenge on our people in Jerusalem after the roaring march of our masses in the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque during Friday prayers.

He added, "This blood will fuel the escalation of the struggle against the Zionist Judaization policy, which will preserve the Al-Aqsa Mosque's Palestinian, Arab-Islamic identity." According to him.

Munther al-Hayek, spokesman for the " Fatah " movement in Gaza, said, "What is happening in Al-Aqsa of shooting at young men and attacking worshipers is nothing but a provocation to terrorize the stationed in preparation for allowing extremist settlers to storm in, practice Talmudic rituals, and offer sacrifices on Easter."

Al-Hayek renewed the call for all of our people who are able to go, be present, and bind in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, to protect them from the plans of the occupation.

For its part, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine described what happened in Al-Aqsa last night as a blatant aggression and dangerous escalation against the Palestinian people, and a provocation to the feelings of our Palestinian people, especially during the month of Ramadan.

She added, "The Zionist government of terror is setting fires in Palestine and abroad, and it bears full responsibility for those fires." As stated in its statement.

At least 11 people were killed in a stampede during the distribution of donations in Pakistan

Pakistani police announced that at least 11 people were killed in the southern city of Karachi on Friday, in a stampede that occurred when a crowd rushed towards a factory where food donations were being distributed on the occasion of Ramadan.

Fida Janwari, a police official in Baldia Town in western Karachi, told AFP that the stampede occurred when needy women and their children flocked to a factory in the neighborhood that was distributing food donations. "There was a panic and people started running," he added.

"When the main door opened, everyone rushed inside," said Fatima Nour, 22, whose sister was killed in the stampede.

An official in the local administration stated that between 600 and 700 people were gathered in the small industrial complex.

The spokesman, Muhammad Faroukh, stated that the bodies of six women and three children were taken to the Governmental Martyr Al Abbasi Hospital.

An official in the "Rescue" association for relief operations told AFP that two other bodies had been transferred to another hospital.

Somaya Sayed Tariq Al-Jarrah confirmed to the police that the death toll reached 11 late on Friday evening.

Among the dead were Asma Ahmed's grandmother, 30, and her niece. "We come to the factory every year for alms," she said. "They started hitting the women with (golf) sticks and pushing them," she added, noting that "chaos reigned everywhere."

Janwari said three of the company's employees were arrested for not informing the police of the distribution in advance, which led to a loss of control over the crowd.

Pakistan has been witnessing a severe economic crisis for months, with a rise in basic food prices by almost half, and inflation reaching record levels.
