Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant called his American counterpart, Lloyd Austin, about the military operation in the Gaza Strip.


"Israel is determined to defend itself and prevent harm to its citizens at any cost," Gallant told his American counterpart.


The statement from Gallant's office did not refer to what the US secretary said.

7 martyrs in the strip and the resistance fires hundreds of rockets towards Tel Aviv and others

7 citizens were killed on the second day of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, and at least 30 were injured, in a series of air raids that hit many separate areas in the Strip. After waiting for 36 hours, the resistance launched hundreds of missiles towards the settlements and cities of the occupation, the most important of which is Tel Tel.

According to the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, the number of martyrs has risen since dawn on Tuesday, to 21 martyrs and more than 60 injuries, including many children and women.

In the most recent raids, the child, Layan Madoukh, was killed, and her sister was injured, as a result of the bombing of an empty land near their house in the Al-Sahaba area, east of Gaza City.

On Wednesday morning, two young men succumbed to critical injuries sustained by Israeli shelling east of Khan Yunis, while two young men were killed in a raid that targeted them in the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.

A young man from Beit Lahiya in the Gaza Strip was also killed, and another citizen from Gaza City was killed.


Numerous casualties were reported in the bombing of separate areas of the Gaza Strip, including resistance sites, agricultural and vacant lands, causing large explosions.

On Wednesday evening, the occupation plane destroyed a 3-storey house for the Al-Agha family in the town of Al-Qarara in Khan Younis, followed by the destruction of a house for the Al-Masry family belonging to a field commander in the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, in the town of Beit Lahia, in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army claimed that its forces bombed targets used to launch rockets by the Islamic Jihad movement, and that it targeted cells that tried to launch rockets.

The Joint Operations Room of the resistance claimed responsibility for firing hundreds of missiles at settlements and cities of the occupation, including targeting the city of Tel Aviv several times.

The bombing of the resistance caused many injuries among the Israelis, and damaged private homes in Sderot and Ashkelon.

Extending the suspension of working hours for educational institutions in Gaza

The government media office in the Gaza Strip announced, this evening, Wednesday, the extension of the suspension of working hours for educational institutions and vocational training centers until tomorrow, Thursday.


In a statement, she stressed that the working condition in ministries and government institutions remains at a minimum, in order to achieve the provision of basic services to citizens, and to ensure that the required role is maintained.

The occupation forces arrested a young man from Jenin

This evening, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested a young man from Jenin.


According to local sources, these forces arrested the young man, Mahmoud Maher Al-Saadi, while he was passing through a military checkpoint near the town of Surra, west of Nablus.

The masses in Jenin mourn the body of the martyr Aref Lahlouh

Huge crowds mourned, this evening, Wednesday, the body of martyr Aref Abdel Nasser Lahlouh (22 years old) to his final resting place in Jenin camp.


The funeral procession started in front of the Great Mosque in the camp, after a farewell look was given to him by his family, loved ones, and friends. Then the participants carried the body of the martyr on their shoulders, and roamed the streets of the camp, all the way to the martyrs' cemetery, where the burial was laid.


The mourners chanted angry slogans, calling on our people to strengthen national unity, and demanding international protection for our people, especially under the extremist Israeli government.


The martyr, Lahlouh, was shot dead by the Israeli occupation on January 25, near the village of Jit in Qalqilya, where his body has been held since then, before it was handed over today at the Salem military checkpoint, west of Jenin.

The transfer of two prisoners from the "popular" to isolate "Al-Jalama"

Today, Wednesday, the Israeli Prisons Administration transferred two prisoners from the "Popular Front" to isolation in "Al-Jalama" prison.


According to the Prisoners Authority, the two prisoners are Ahmed Saadat and Ahed Gholma.
