Israeli fears of a new flood starting from the West Bank... carried out by members of the authority.

The Israeli incitement is not limited to the Palestinian resistance forces; it has recently extended to the Palestinian Authority and its security apparatuses, claiming that they are trained abroad, equipped with weapons under the Oslo Accords, and studying the methods of the occupation army, in addition to accusing the government of covering for them.

The right-wing writer in Yedioth Ahronoth demonstrated that the Israeli army's announcement regarding a Palestinian police officer carrying out a shooting operation in the West Bank is not the first of its kind, despite defining this police force as a "partner" that is supposed to cooperate with it on security matters.

The former army spokesperson has consistently published news about the elimination of Hamas and Islamic Jihad fighters, while the Palestinian Authority was holding official funerals for them.

The Israeli security apparatus has long been "covering up" for Fatah members involved in operations against the occupation, but this new change may be a result of a shift in the leadership of the General Security Service - Shin Bet.

The Palestinian police announced via its official Facebook page that its senior officers are receiving lectures on the "concept of Israeli national security," aimed at improving the leadership capabilities of the participants.

In a disturbing documentary, members of the Palestinian security apparatus are seen training in tactical uniforms matching those of the occupation army fighters, armed with rifles used by Israeli soldiers.

The number of Palestinian police officers has risen to 60,000, with their leaders training in Jordan, Pakistan, and Algeria, on traditional military combat methods.

It is claimed that the police and Palestinian security forces receive significant training in Jordan, in cooperation with the American army and the CIA, as part of the Oslo Accords.

All this accumulation forms a massive army that threatens hundreds of settlements behind and within the Green Line, stretching 350 kilometers long.

Within the illusion of peace with the Palestinians, and with the occupation's approval and satisfaction, a highly dangerous army has emerged in the West Bank, raising fears of a new tidal wave attack.

Al-Qassam and the Red Cross begin examining the site of an Israeli soldier's body.

A joint team from the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, began a field examination to determine the location of the body of an Israeli prisoner within what is known as the "yellow line" in the city of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza Strip.

This comes after the Palestinian resistance announced its success in retrieving the bodies of 7 Israeli prisoners from areas under the control of the Israeli army within the strip.

These field developments coincided with leaks reported by the Israeli website Walla from a security source stating that political and security entities in Israel informed the United States during closed meetings that Tel Aviv would not consider moving to the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza before recovering all prisoners.

The website added that Israel is exerting pressure through Washington and intermediaries on Hamas to return the remaining bodies in its possession, but sources confirmed that there has been no progress or new information regarding them.

The source indicated that Israel's hands are tied at this stage, and that Washington is unlikely to allow a resumption of fighting to pressure Hamas, especially with the U.S. administration's desire to move to the second phase of the agreement.

Sources also clarified that the Israeli political leadership has not yet studied the scenarios prepared by the army in case the bodies are not returned.

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the army received last Tuesday the remains of Israeli prisoner Doron Or, one of the three prisoners still in Gaza.

The remains were handed over as part of a ceasefire agreement mediated by the United States.

For his part, Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem stated that the delivery of the body comes as part of "the movement's firm commitment to fully conclude the exchange process."

Qassem called on intermediaries to pressure Israel to adhere to the ceasefire and implement what was stipulated in the ceasefire agreement and to stop violations.

Sources within Hamas reported that its teams continue to search for the bodies of Israeli prisoners in Gaza in preparation for handing them over to the Israeli side through intermediaries.

In the southern part of the strip, the Israeli occupation army announced that it had eliminated 4 fighters who emerged from tunnels in the Rafah area, which is the region it withdrew to from inside Gaza following the ceasefire agreement last month.

This announcement came days after several sources confirmed the existence of negotiations regarding the fate of dozens of Hamas fighters trapped for weeks inside tunnels under Israeli control in Rafah.

The occupation army had announced last Friday that it found the bodies of 9 Palestinian fighters during operations to dismantle the tunnel network in the southern strip.

Hamas estimates the number of its fighters trapped inside the tunnels to be between 80 and 100 fighters.

Under the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on October 10, the Israeli army redeployed beyond the "yellow line," which gives it control over more than half of the strip's area.

Since the agreement came into effect after more than two years of the genocide war against the people of the Gaza Strip, Israel has been daily violating the agreement and launching attacks on various areas of the strip, while the residents suffer from a suffocating humanitarian crisis due to the extensive destruction caused by Israeli military operations.

Medical sources in the Gaza Strip: Challenges hinder the continued provision of specialized care for eye patients.

Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced that difficult challenges hinder the continued provision of specialized care for eye patients due to damage to diagnostic and surgical equipment, leading to difficulties in surgical interventions and increased waiting times for operations.

The same sources clarified that the pharmaceutical supplies for eye services are very limited and do not meet urgent needs, while the shortage of specialized medications for eye patients has exacerbated their acute and chronic suffering.

They indicated that 4,000 patients suffer from elevated intraocular pressure "glaucoma," facing the threat of vision loss due to a lack of treatment and limited surgical procedures.

The ministry called on all relevant parties to urgently intervene to provide diagnostic equipment and specialized medications for eye patients.

France demands that Israel respect Syria's sovereignty following the aggression in Beit Jinn in the Damascus countryside.

On Sunday, France urged Israel to respect Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity, following its aggression against the town of Beit Jinn in the Damascus countryside, which resulted in 13 deaths and dozens of injuries.

This was stated in a post on the American platform "X" by the French chargé d'affaires in Syria, Jean Faver.

Faver said that France "affirms the importance of preserving the unity of Syria, its sovereignty, and its stability in accordance with international law and the disengagement agreement (signed between the two sides in 1974)."

He called on "Israel to respect Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity," expressing his country's concern "over reports indicating civilian casualties during the Israeli military operations in the town of Beit Jinn."

He also urged "all countries in the region to engage in ongoing efforts to enable Syria to become a center of peace, security, and stability for the benefit of the Syrian people and the entire region."

On Friday morning, an Israeli patrol infiltrated the town of Beit Jinn, leading to an armed clash with the locals, resulting in the injury of 6 Israeli soldiers, including 3 officers.

Following that, Tel Aviv committed a massacre in retaliation against the townspeople who tried to defend their land, through an air assault that resulted in the deaths of 13 people, including women and children, and injured about 25 others.

Although the Syrian government has not posed any threat to Tel Aviv, the Israeli army repeatedly infiltrates various areas of the Arab country and conducts airstrikes that have killed civilians and destroyed military sites, vehicles, weapons, and ammunition belonging to the army.

The town of Beit Jinn is located on the slopes of "Mount Sheikh," and is only about 10 kilometers from the border separating it from the occupied Golan Heights and Israel.

Repeatedly, this town has been subjected to various Israeli military assaults in recent months, including air and artillery bombardments and temporary ground incursions.

The West Bank.. Israeli settlers assault foreign activists in Jericho

Four foreign activists were injured with varying degrees of wounds early Sunday, following an attack by Israeli settlers on them in the Bedouin community of "Ain al-Diouk" in the Jericho Governorate, eastern occupied West Bank.

Local sources reported that foreign activists were attacked early today by settlers in the Ain al-Diouk area near Jericho, after the settlers infiltrated a house where the activists were staying during their solidarity mission.

The attack resulted in injuries to four activists, three of which were described as moderate and one as serious due to severe beating. All the activists were transported to the hospital, with three holding Italian citizenship and the fourth holding Canadian citizenship.

Sources indicated that the settlers proceeded to steal the contents of the house, including the activists' passports and mobile phones, in addition to vandalizing some property inside the place.

The activists had been staying in the Bedouin community for several days to provide protection and support to the residents amid escalating settler attacks.

According to the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, settlers carried out 766 attacks against Palestinians and their properties in the West Bank during October.

The Israeli army and settlers continue their attacks and escalation in the West Bank since the beginning of the genocide against Gaza, resulting in the deaths of at least 1,085 Palestinians, injuries to nearly 11,000, and the arrest of more than 21,000 others.

The Israeli genocide in Gaza, which began on October 8, 2023, and lasted for two years with American support, has resulted in over 70,000 deaths and around 171,000 Palestinian injuries, most of whom are children and women, along with massive destruction, with the cost of reconstruction estimated by the United Nations at around 70 billion dollars.

Intensive shelling on Rafah and Khan Younis, and Israel is firm on the condition to move to the second phase.

The Israeli military operations continue in the southern Gaza Strip, where the occupation forces launched a series of airstrikes and demolition operations early Sunday morning within the areas they control, particularly around Rafah and Khan Younis.

Al Jazeera reporters stated that the occupation carried out 6 airstrikes east of Rafah, coinciding with demolition operations and large explosions east of Khan Younis within what is known as the "yellow line," the area that the Israeli army has imposed control over since the recent incursion.

The airstrikes also targeted the town of Bani Suheila east of Khan Younis within the same area, amid intense artillery shelling.

Local sources reported that Israeli vehicles stationed near the Morag axis northeast of Rafah opened heavy fire as part of the combing operations, while warships shelled the western coast of the city.

In the central Gaza Strip, Anadolu Agency reported an airstrike on an area east of the Al-Bureij camp, outside the areas controlled by the occupation according to the first phase of the ceasefire agreement.

Israeli fighter jets also targeted areas east of Gaza City, while heavy gunfire was witnessed in Jabalia to the north from helicopter gunships.

Channel 12 reported from a security source that the army expects to complete the combing of the yellow line area in Gaza, which is under its control, in the coming weeks.

The channel added that Israeli estimates indicate that Hamas is still capable of manufacturing explosive devices and is seeking to restore its military capabilities and smuggle weapons via drones.

The channel also reported that Israel informed mediators that the number of remaining Hamas militants east of Rafah is estimated at about 50 fighters, and they have the option to surrender.

According to Channel 12, those who surrender "will be detained in Israel for a short period and then released" on the condition of pledging not to carry weapons or engage in any military activity.

Israel continues to violate the ceasefire agreement announced on October 10, which has led to the deaths of hundreds of martyrs and injuries over the past weeks, alongside the ongoing restrictions on the entry of food and medicine into the besieged strip.

Sources say that the agreement was supposed to stop the war, which international organizations described as "genocide," which has resulted since October 2023 in more than 70,000 martyrs and 170,000 injuries, most of whom are children and women.

In this context, the Israeli website "Walla" reported that Israeli political and security officials informed the Americans in closed meetings that Tel Aviv will not consider moving to the second phase of the ceasefire agreement before recovering all the bodies of the prisoners in the besieged strip.

The site added that security sources indicated that Israel continues to pressure Hamas through the United States and mediators to return the bodies of the last detainees.

Sources mentioned that Israel's hands are tied, indicating that there is no possibility that Washington will allow fighting to resume at this stage to pressure Hamas to return the bodies.

The sources stated that the Americans want to move to the second phase in Gaza, noting that any intense fighting could hinder that.

The sources confirmed that the political leadership has not studied the scenarios prepared by the army in the event that Hamas does not return the remaining bodies.

The sources expected that Hamas would return the remaining bodies under what they called political pressure.

Americanization of the American position or Israeliization of the Israeli position

Hamada Farane

Hamada Farane

Opinion Writer

A fundamental question arises for political followers who are interested, engaged, opinion holders, stakeholders, and anyone with a stake in politics: who is the more influential decision-making party over the other? Is it the United States, the strongest, richest, and most influential country in the world? Is it the one that has the ability to influence the policies of the colony and restrain it as long as it is the most supportive and covering for it?
Or is it the colony that knows its position in our Arab region through power, expansion, and occupation, and works to serve American policies and interests while confronting anyone who stands against it, as it rebels, indulges, and stretches, exploiting the United States' need for it, and investing its influence through the Israeli lobby "AIPAC" within America itself, as well as the ideological religious stance of evangelical Christians supporting the colony's aspirations for emergence and survival on the sacred land of Palestine.
In facing this perplexing question, we find that the European stance, unlike the American stance, is developing positively in favor of Palestine, culminating in the French-Saudi partnership to hold an international conference for a two-state solution, and the recognition of the Palestinian state by the majority of European countries, especially Britain and France, with the exception of Germany.
The foreign ministers of France, Germany, Italy, and Britain issued an important statement on November 27, 2025, addressing several points that form a foundation for European and global support for Palestine:
First: a strong condemnation of the massive increase in violence by foreign settler colonists against Palestinian civilians in the Palestinian West Bank. According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), October of this year recorded 264 attacks by settlers, the highest number of attacks in a single month since the UN began recording such attacks in 2006. Therefore, the statement from the four European ministers emphasized that "these attacks must stop immediately, as they instill terror among civilians and hinder ongoing peace efforts."
They called on the colony's government to "comply with its obligations under international law, ensure the protection of Palestinian populations in the occupied territories, and urge accountability for those responsible for these crimes, while preventing further violence by addressing the root causes of this behavior."
Second: They welcomed President Trump's opposition to any form of annexation, affirming their opposition to any partial or total annexation, or de facto annexation, and to any settlement policies by the colony that violate international law.
Third: They called on the colony's government to retract its policies and procedures for building settlements, especially the construction of the E1 settlement, which was approved by Netanyahu's government in August 2025, as part of the settlement expansion policy, where the approval for the establishment of 3,000 housing units was made in the past three weeks, bringing the total number of new units since the beginning of this year to 28,000 housing units, a record number that will lead to the fragmentation of the geographical unity of the Palestinian West Bank.
Fourth: They demanded that the colony's government release the clearance funds belonging to the Palestinian Authority, considering the continued withholding of these funds unjustified.
Fifth: They reaffirmed their commitment to a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue through a two-state solution, where the state of Israel – the colony – and an independent, democratic, territorially connected, sovereign, and viable Palestinian state live side by side in peace and security, with mutual recognition and a negotiated solution, with no alternative.
This is a positive stance from the four countries, especially since these countries have individually and collectively contributed to the establishment of the Israeli colony on Palestinian land, at the expense of their rights and land. Thus, they are taking a forward-moving stance in favor of Palestine, after years of injustice, lack of fairness, and absence of equity towards the Palestinian people.
Despite appearing balanced and measured, this stance is a progressive one in favor of Palestine that will gradually impose itself on international politics, in the face of extremism, crime, and Israeli atrocities against Palestinians.

Incursions and chaos.. The occupation arrests dozens of Palestinians in Salfit, Bethlehem, and Hebron.

Israeli occupation forces launched a large-scale raid and arrest campaign at dawn on Sunday, November 30, 2025, targeting various areas of the occupied West Bank, which included storming homes, searching them, and mistreating their residents, amid tight military measures.

In the city of Salfit, a large military force stormed the town of "Al-Zawiya," where the occupation army proceeded to close its entrance with earth mounds to isolate it from its surroundings. The occupation forces carried out an arrest campaign that affected more than ten citizens, who were detained and subjected to field interrogation before being released later.

To the south, the occupation forces focused their campaign in the town of "Beit Fajjar" in Bethlehem Governorate; they raided several homes and wreaked havoc before arresting five citizens: Mahmoud Ibrahim Thawabteh, Issam Hussein Diriyeh and his brother Ibrahim, Muhammad Ahmad Abu Yabes, and Baraa Yusuf Ali Diriyeh.

The arrests also extended to the town of "Sa'ir" east of Hebron, where three released prisoners were arrested: Khalil Farukh, Awda Jaradat, and Jalal Jabareen.

In the northern West Bank, Nablus Governorate witnessed multiple incursions; released prisoner Muhammad Asida was arrested after his home was raided in the village of "Tal." The occupation forces also stormed the village of "Sura" and arrested three young men, with sources reporting that one of them was injured.

In a related context, military vehicles stormed the streets of Balata camp, where soldiers tore down posters of martyrs hanging in the alleys in a provocative step. In Ramallah, the arrest of young man Hassan Murad from the town of "Deir Abu Mishal" was recorded following the storming of his home.

Custodian of the Holy Land at the Catholic Church: We hope for an end to the war in Palestine.

The Guardian of the Holy Land in the Catholic Church, Francesco Yalbo, expressed hope on Saturday for an end to the Israeli war in Palestine, and for peace and love to prevail in the world.

This came in statements made by Yalbo to reporters upon his arrival in Bethlehem, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, marking the beginning of the religious rituals for Christmas according to the Western calendar.

In Bethlehem, an official and popular reception ceremony was held for Father Yalbo, attended by representatives of the Palestinian government.

Yalbo said: "We send a message to the world today that Bethlehem carries the message of Christmas, and we will pray for hope, love, and peace from Bethlehem and Palestine to the world, and we hope that the coming year will bring hope and goodness, and that the war in Palestine will end."

During the reception, Ramzi Khoury, the head of the Presidential Committee for Church Affairs, stated to reporters that Bethlehem "is armed with hope for change for the better."

Khoury called on the world to come to the city and stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Inside the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, a solidarity event was held with the Gaza Strip, which included lighting candles alongside solidarity messages for the region, and a call to lift the siege, provide aid, and facilitate reconstruction.

Christian denominations that follow the Western calendar (including Catholics) celebrate Christmas on December 25 each year, while those that follow the Eastern calendar (including Orthodox) celebrate the holiday on January 7.

For the past two years, the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem have been affected by a state of security tension accompanying the genocide in the Gaza Strip that began on October 8, 2023, and lasted for two years, leading to a near-total halt in tourism.

During the past two years, Israel has killed more than 69,000 Palestinians in Gaza and injured over 170,000, while the Israeli army and settlers in the West Bank have killed at least 1,085 Palestinians and injured about 11,000, in addition to arresting more than 21,000.

Christians from all over the world pilgrimage to Bethlehem in late December each year to celebrate Christmas, visiting the Church of the Nativity and ensuring they acquire souvenirs made from olive wood.

Bethlehem is a historic city located in the southern West Bank, gaining its sanctity from the presence of the "Church of the Nativity," which was built over a cave believed to be where Mary, the daughter of Imran, peace be upon her, gave birth to her son, Christ Jesus, peace be upon him.

UNICEF: Acute malnutrition threatens nearly 10,000 children in Gaza

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) announced today, Saturday, that approximately 9,300 cases of acute malnutrition have been recorded among children under the age of five in the Gaza Strip during October, warning of the worsening humanitarian situation as winter approaches and food supplies dwindle.

The organization stated in a statement that the high levels of malnutrition "endanger children's lives," noting that winter increases the risks of diseases and mortality rates among the most vulnerable groups.

It clarified that nutrition screenings have shown a sharp rise in cases of food insecurity, amid shortages of basic supplies and rising prices of animal-source foods, making them unaffordable for the majority of the population in the sector.

UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell added that "thousands of children under five continue to suffer from acute malnutrition, while many lack adequate shelter, sanitation, and protection from the cold," emphasizing that "hunger, disease, and harsh weather conditions put the lives of Gaza's children at risk."

The organization stated that large quantities of winter supplies remain stuck at the Gaza borders and called for aid to be delivered "safely, quickly, and without obstacles," urging the simultaneous opening of all crossings to expedite the flow of relief, including from Egypt, Israel, Jordan, and the West Bank.

This comes at a time when a low-pressure system last week damaged 22,000 tents for displaced persons, leaving more than 288,000 families without protection from the cold and rain, according to the government media office in Gaza.

The sector needs about 300,000 tents and prefabricated housing units to secure the basic shelter needs, amid widespread destruction caused by the ongoing war with Israel since October 2023.

In this context, Jens Laerke, spokesperson for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), stated that UN staff and facilities continue to be targeted despite the ceasefire agreement.

He explained that an Israeli helicopter bombed a UNRWA school playground in Jabalia on November 24, and armed individuals fired at a team from the UN Office for Project Services in Deir al-Balah on the 25th of the same month, with no injuries reported.

Laerke stressed the need to respect international humanitarian law, which ensures the protection of civilians, humanitarian workers, relief convoys, and civilian infrastructure, adding, "These attacks put UN staff and our partners from international organizations at serious risk and complicate life-saving efforts."

Israel continues to violate the ceasefire agreement signed with Hamas, having recorded approximately 497 violations since October 10, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 342 Palestinians, according to government data in Gaza.

Obstacles and international rejection.. Trump's plan to establish an international force in Gaza faces difficulties.

A newspaper revealed urgent obstacles faced by President Donald Trump's administration in its efforts to establish an international force overseeing security arrangements in the Gaza Strip as part of the 'next day' plan.

According to the extensive report, the administration recently concluded a series of talks with Western, Asian, and Arab countries that were presented with the idea of contributing ground forces to the region; however, the vast majority of these countries expressed clear hesitation or outright refusal to engage in such a mission.

The primary concerns of these countries revolve around the potential for direct friction with Gazan civilians and the risk of getting drawn into unexpected confrontations that could impose political or legal responsibilities on the participants, despite Washington's assurances that the proposed force would be non-combatant and have limited missions.

Washington is exploring alternative options to overcome these obstacles, including reducing the size of the proposed force and transforming the mission into a joint arrangement between civilian and security elements, as well as reverting to alternative regional plans if forming a multinational force in the desired manner proves unfeasible.

The main goal for Washington remains to prevent Hamas and other armed factions from regaining control of the region and to facilitate an organized transition to new governance arrangements.

Incursions and arrests in the West Bank, and the Tubas operation continues for the fourth day.

The military operation carried out by the Israeli occupation army in the city of Tubas and the towns of Aqaba and Tayaseer in the northern occupied West Bank continues for the fourth consecutive day.

This comes at a time when the occupation army raided several areas in the West Bank today and arrested 4 Palestinians, including a woman, while settlers attacked Palestinian vehicles with stones, injuring 4 Palestinians south of Bethlehem.

The "Walla" website reported that the Israeli army arrested about 100 suspects last night in the town of Tamoun in Tubas Governorate, and expelled more than 20 families from their homes in the town in search of what it claimed were "weapons."

The occupation forces had withdrawn last night from the al-Far'a camp after raiding it in the morning and searching its homes, and they also withdrew from the town of Tamoun after three days of military operations there.

A reporter stated that the occupation forces arrested about 190 Palestinians during this campaign, most of whom were released after being subjected to abuse and beatings under harsh conditions.

About 200 Palestinians were also injured due to the assaults by the occupation forces, with 80 of them transferred to hospitals for treatment, while the rest were treated on-site.

Regarding the incursions, the occupation army raided several areas in the occupied West Bank today and arrested 4 Palestinians, including a woman.

Local sources reported that the Israeli army arrested brothers Muhammad and Ahmad Nabil Ziyoud after raiding and searching their family's home in the town of Silat al-Harithiya west of Jenin in the northern West Bank.

The sources indicated that the army also raided the home of young man Iyad Jaradat and destroyed its contents in the same town, noting that Jaradat was one of those released in the recent exchange deal between the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and Israel and was planning to celebrate his wedding this week.

In the neighboring town of Yamoun, the Israeli army arrested young man Muhammad Samoudi after raiding his family's home, according to local sources.

The occupation forces also arrested five citizens, including two children and a woman from Qalqilya Governorate, according to the Palestinian news agency.

The agency added that the occupation forces raided the city of Qalqilya from its eastern entrance, spread in the Kafr Saba neighborhood, and arrested two children and a young man during a raid on their homes, searching them and tampering with their contents.

The occupation forces also raided the village of Baqa al-Hatab east of Qalqilya from its main entrance, spread in the western neighborhood and the Bayader area, and carried out a wide raid on several homes, arresting two Palestinians during the raids and searches of their homes.

In the village of al-Tabaqa south of Hebron in the southern West Bank, Israeli soldiers removed Palestinian flags raised above a large water tank in the middle of the village.

Other areas of the West Bank witnessed Israeli incursions, with no reports of home raids or arrests.

The Red Crescent announced the injury of 4 Palestinians, including a woman, by gunfire from settlers during their assault on the Khalayil al-Lawz area in the city of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank.

Settlers attacked Palestinian vehicles with stones on Friday evening in the Wadi Qana area between Salfit and Qalqilya (north), with no reports of injuries.

This comes amid a continuous Israeli escalation in the West Bank that has resulted in the martyrdom of more than 1,085 Palestinians, the injury of nearly 11,000, and the arrest of more than 20,500 people since the start of the genocide war in the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.

Global Newspapers: Trump's Deals Cover Up the Genocide in Gaza and Legitimize the Occupation of Ukraine

Global newspapers and websites have addressed the ongoing widespread destruction in the Gaza Strip despite the announcement of a ceasefire, criticizing what they described as the Trump administration's preoccupation with making political and economic deals at the expense of the crimes committed against Palestinians, alongside American moves to solidify the Russian occupation of Ukrainian territories.

Raz Siegel in The Guardian believes that the Israeli genocide that has turned Gaza into a devastated model has not stopped, pointing out that the ceasefire imposed by the Trump administration seemed to be a cover for arranging trade deals, while Israel continued its attacks and killed hundreds of Palestinians.

The writer emphasizes that Israel continued to bomb homes, prevent aid, and destroy residential infrastructure after October 10, making the ceasefire merely formal with no impact on the ground, as he expressed, amid the international community's inability to stop the violations.

In Haaretz, Amos Schocken wrote that Benjamin Netanyahu's government is working against Israel's interests by ignoring diplomatic opportunities, explaining that portraying the Palestinian state as a terrorist entity serves to maintain control over the occupied territories, despite repeated Security Council resolutions calling for an end to the occupation.

Schocken points out that the recent Security Council resolution reaffirmed the prohibition of annexing occupied territories, considering that Netanyahu's rejection of a Palestinian state aims to maintain Israeli control over areas designated by international resolutions for the establishment of the Palestinian state.

As for Yedioth Ahronoth, it quoted security officials saying that the incident in the town of Beit Jinn in the countryside of Damascus underscores the necessity of preventing any hostile groups from establishing a presence near the borders, considering Syria an unstable state, and that no agreement can be reached with it, and Israel should not withdraw from Mount Hermon.

Yesterday, Friday, the town of Beit Jinn in the countryside of Damascus witnessed an Israeli bombing that resulted in the death of 13 people, following the incursion of occupation forces into the town to arrest wanted youths, and the locals confronted them before their withdrawal, leaving behind a military vehicle.

In contrast, the newspaper noted that the Syrian Foreign Ministry condemned what it described as the Israeli attack on Beit Jinn, considering it a war crime and a violation of Syrian territorial sovereignty and a direct assault on the residents and their properties, according to the ministry's statement.

Le Monde writes that Iran is betting on France to launch new negotiations regarding its nuclear program after a long stalemate, noting that Trump believes that Iran's nuclear infrastructure was destroyed during the "12-day war" launched by Israel to disrupt Tehran's project.

The French newspaper adds that negotiations remain stalled due to the rigidity of Trump's and Tehran's positions, questioning whether Paris, which has played a key role in this file for years, has the ability to reopen the diplomatic track in the upcoming phase.

In The Telegraph, informed sources reveal that Washington is preparing to recognize Russia's control over Crimea and occupied Ukrainian areas in an effort to end the war, clarifying that Trump sent his envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law Kushner to present a direct offer to Putin in Moscow.

The newspaper points out that the plan contradicts American diplomatic traditions and raises concerns among European allies of Kyiv, while other sources emphasize that Washington does not pay much attention to European concerns regarding the future of Ukrainian territories.

The Russian newspaper Izvestia discusses signs of limited normalization between Moscow and Washington, noting that dialogue continues on issues such as the new START treaty, despite the slow pace of consultations and lack of progress on issues of air travel and seized diplomatic properties.

The newspaper sees that the Ukrainian conflict remains the biggest obstacle to improving relations, as the United States links any political breakthrough to tangible progress towards resolving the war, while Moscow considers that American pressures prevent the restoration of normal relations.

Israel prevented the European Commissioner for Equality from entering Gaza.

The European Union Commissioner for Equality and Crisis Management, Haja Lahbib, stated that she intended to enter Gaza during her visit to Egypt, but Israel denied her request to cross.

This was mentioned in statements she made on Friday at the Rafah crossing. She pointed out that Palestinians are still being killed daily by the Israeli army, clarifying that 347 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire began, including 67 children.

On October 10, the first phase of the agreement came into effect, following a genocide carried out by Israel with American support against Gaza for two years since October 2023.

She added that she had planned to cross the border to see the situation in Gaza for herself, but Israel did not grant her entry permission, which saddened her greatly, noting that Gaza has turned into a graveyard for thousands of civilians, including relief workers.

She stated that about 600 aid workers have been killed while trying to save lives in one of the most dangerous places on Earth, adding that thousands of families in Gaza are living among the rubble without shelter or protection from the coming winter cold, warning that experts expect a catastrophic winter.

She reiterated the necessity of continuing the ceasefire and adhering to international law as the only way to protect civilians.

She said that it is necessary to move from the first phase to the second phase, which includes disarming Hamas and releasing the remaining prisoners.

She noted that the delivery of some aid to Palestinians in Gaza has begun, but this is not enough, emphasizing the need to open all crossings.

The Israeli genocide in Gaza has left more than 69,000 dead and 170,000 injured Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, along with massive destruction, with the cost of reconstruction estimated by the United Nations at about $70 billion.

Two children killed in an airstrike east of Khan Younis near Al-Farabi School.

In a field development in the southern Gaza Strip, an airstrike carried out by an "Israeli" drone resulted in two new casualties in the eastern town of "Bani Suheila".

Medical sources from "Nasser Hospital" confirmed the arrival of the bodies of two martyr children, who were killed due to a direct targeting by the occupation forces that hit a group of citizens who were near the "Al-Farabi" school, located within the area locally known as "inside the yellow line" east of Khan Younis city.

Israeli violations of the ceasefire escalate tensions in Gaza.

Despite more than 6 weeks having passed since the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on October 10, tensions in the Gaza Strip have escalated, amid increasing Israeli violations and attempts to redraw the maps of field control. Ambiguity now surrounds the ceasefire agreement, the general situation in the Gaza Strip, and the nature of the second phase of the agreement signed in Sharm El-Sheikh.

It has become essential for the guarantors of the agreement to establish a clear and specific mechanism for informing mediators of any violations to take action and address the issues of displaced families and the tragedy of citizens in the tents of the displaced, as winter rains continue to fall and there are no means for life, including infrastructure to cope with the thunderstorms and rains that engulf the tents.

It remains unclear the readiness and capability of the international community to deploy an international stabilization force, in implementation of the recent Security Council resolution, while Israel seeks to impose new realities on the ground through intensified bombing and incursions, moving the yellow line westward. Mediators are striving to ensure adherence to the agreement, and any unilateral change threatens to undermine the truce, leaving the future of the agreement ambiguous. According to informed field sources, around 497 violations of the agreement have been recorded since its implementation began, including dozens of airstrikes, artillery shelling, and military movements within areas that are supposed to be outside the control of the Israeli occupation army.

These violations have resulted in the martyrdom of 342 civilians and the injury of 875 others, while the total number of martyrs since the outbreak of the war in October 2023 has risen to 69,733 martyrs and 170,863 injured, according to the Ministry of Health.

At the same time, the practices of the occupation are escalating, and Israeli violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, is increasing, particularly the terrorism of settlers, who draw their courage from extremists in the Israeli government and continue to provide support and bolster colonial activities. They also carry out deliberate attacks on homes and properties, including the arson of a mosque near Deir Istiya, and their daily violent assaults on Palestinians attempting to harvest olives and on shepherds and their livestock, in a serious violation of international law and a blatant breach of United Nations resolutions.

Meanwhile, international media have revealed details of an American plan to divide Gaza into two areas: a "red" area west of the yellow line, and a "green" area under the control of the Israeli army. The plan stipulates the establishment of temporary residential clusters in the green areas, including housing units, schools, hospitals, and humanitarian services, aimed at accommodating the population who will be asked to leave the western areas, while guarantees for the full implementation of the Sharm El-Sheikh peace agreement are fading, as the occupation government has not effectively implemented any of the ceasefire terms.

The occupation authorities continue these actions even during the ceasefire period, which has become mere ink on paper. The practices of the Israeli occupation and the massacre of collective housing in the Gaza Strip, along with the ongoing policy of killing by the occupation government, the obstruction of sufficient humanitarian aid, and the continued demolition of homes in the sector constitute a widespread commission of genocide.

The continuation of the grave violations committed by Israel, the occupying power, throughout the occupied Palestinian territories, is a blatant challenge to international law and the provisions of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which came into effect on October 10, 2025, following mediation by the United States, Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey.

The gallows of Ben Gvir are being erected on Mount

Ibrahim Malham

Ibrahim Malham

Preempting the completion of the final readings of the bill he proposed for the execution of prisoners, after it hastily passed the first reading amidst the roar of a pack of predators in the Knesset, "Ben Gvir" yesterday erected his gallows on Mount Zahir in Jenin for the two young men, victorious by God's will, Abdullah (26 years old) and Youssef Asasa (37 years old), whose pure souls were spilled by the bullets of soldiers still consumed by the lust for killing, after they became accustomed to hunting their prey among their victims of children, women, and the elderly in Gaza, as if they were on a hunting trip, presenting them as gifts for Christmas celebrations to their loved ones, which they boasted about in sound and image, proud of their achievements.

This is not the first crime in the records of his past and that of his ancestors, nor will it be the last, as the erection of such gallows has been repeated in more than one incident since the beginning of the conflict between the homeland and the occupation. These gallows express a savagery and sadism that revels in the shedding of the blood of others, as part of the decisive plan being implemented since its inaugural day in Hawara about three years ago, taking the form of extermination of the population and homes in the slaughtered sector.

"Ben Gvir" did not wait for the approval of his ugly law, nor for the victims to stand before a judge who would pronounce the death sentence without an indictment. He hastened, driven by an open lust for killing, to erect the poles of his gallows, which would serve as the second and third readings stamped with the blood of the two victims.

The rogue state did not wait for the decisions of judges when its soldiers executed the girl Hind Rajab, Muhammad al-Dura, and Iman Hajjo… and those who came before and after them in a sequence of crimes that will not stop as long as the perpetrators are assured of their ability to escape punishment.

Report: The occupation has killed hundreds of Lebanese since the ceasefire agreement.

A report from the Lebanese Ministry of Health stated on Friday that the Israeli occupation state has killed 335 Lebanese and injured 973 others in 1,038 attacks since the signing of the ceasefire agreement in November 2024.

The ministry added in a statement that "the toll of 1,308 Israeli attacks on Lebanon, since the signing of the ceasefire agreement between 28/11/2024 and 27/11/2025, has reached 335 martyrs and 973 wounded."

On a daily basis, the occupation state violates the ceasefire agreement in effect with Hezbollah since November 27, 2024, which was supposed to end its aggression.

The occupation forces have breached the agreement at least 10,000 times, according to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) a few days ago.

Israel also defies the agreement by continuing to occupy five Lebanese hills in the south that it seized during the last war, in addition to other Lebanese areas it has occupied for decades.

On Thursday, the Israeli occupation army launched strikes and destroyed infrastructure it claimed belonged to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that "Israeli warplanes carried out an aerial aggression targeting the Mahmoudiya and Jarmaq areas" north of the Litani River in southern Lebanon.

Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam stated on Thursday that Lebanon is "in a one-sided war of attrition, and it is escalating."

In a subsequent statement marking the anniversary of the ceasefire agreement, the Israeli army claimed that since the ceasefire came into effect, it has carried out "1,200 focused operations" aimed at "destroying terrorist infrastructure and thwarting attempts to gather intelligence... and striking the military capabilities" of Hezbollah, according to its claims.

According to the statement, the army alleged that since then it has targeted "370" members of Hezbollah, Hamas, and various Palestinian factions.

Intensive negotiations regarding the besieged fighters in Rafah... this is its latest update.

Informed sources regarding the negotiations concerning the fate of the fighters of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas trapped in the tunnels of Rafah have reported that discussions are ongoing in an effort to reach a solution to this crisis.

A Hamas leader stated that "negotiations and communications with the mediators (Qatar, Turkey, and Egypt) and the Americans are continuing in an effort to resolve the crisis."

A Palestinian source familiar with the negotiations confirmed that this issue was discussed this week, while a source in one of the mediating countries stated that the United States, Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey are working to reach a settlement that would allow Hamas fighters to exit the tunnels located behind the "yellow line" in southern Gaza.

On Wednesday, the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" condemned the Israeli occupation's pursuit of its trapped fighters in the Rafah tunnels for their elimination, asserting that this constitutes a blatant violation of the ceasefire.

The movement stated in a statement that it has made significant efforts to resolve their issue, but the Israeli occupation has undermined them, calling on the mediators to act swiftly to bring them back.

Hamas added that "the brutal crime committed by the occupation through the pursuit, elimination, and arrest of the mujahideen trapped in the tunnels of Rafah city is a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza and a damning evidence of the ongoing attempts to undermine and destroy this agreement."

The statement indicated that Hamas "has made significant efforts over the past month with various political leaders and mediators to resolve the fighters' issue and return them to their homes, and has presented specific ideas and mechanisms to address this problem."

The statement also clarified that Hamas presented this "in full communication with the mediators and the U.S. administration as one of the guarantors of the ceasefire agreement, but the occupation undermined all these efforts, prioritizing the language of killing, crime, pursuit, and arrest, thwarting the efforts of the mediators who have worked hard with various international parties to put an end to the suffering of these heroic fighters."

Hamas held the Israeli occupation "fully responsible for the lives of our mujahideen," calling on "the brother mediators to take urgent action to pressure the occupation to allow our sons to return to their homes, as they represent a unique model of sacrifice, heroism, and patience, and a symbol of the dignity and freedom of the Palestinian people."

The 4 most prominent Israeli movements responsible for settlement crimes in the West Bank

There are various movements and associations for settlement, which are advanced tools for entrenching and expanding settlement and attempting to Judaize the occupied Palestinian territories. Since Israel's occupation of the West Bank in 1967, successive Israeli governments have established hundreds of settlements, housing more than 700,000 settlers.

After the June 1967 war, the ruling Labor Party in Israel at the time laid the foundation for the settlement project in the West Bank, according to the Hebrew news site 'Mida'. This project was named 'Allon Plan', which focused on seizing Palestinian lands under the guise of 'military and security purposes'.

The main settlement movements include 'Gush Emunim', 'Amana', 'Nahala', and 'Elad'. Each plays a role in expanding settlement, with 'Gush Emunim' seeking to build the largest number of settlements, while 'Amana' focuses on settling mountainous areas. 'Nahala' supports the expansion of the settlements' influence, and 'Elad' aims to develop the Old City of Jerusalem.

Israel.. Criticism of the army's failure after 6 soldiers were injured in an incursion in the countryside of Damascus.

The Israeli failure on Friday, which manifested in the injury of 6 soldiers and the failure to withdraw their vehicle after an incursion into the village of "Beit Jann" in the southern countryside of Damascus, Syria, at dawn to arrest two individuals, drew criticism from military leaders.

The operation began around three in the morning, where soldiers from the 55th Reserve Brigade and the 210th Division launched an operation to arrest two brothers in the town of Beit Jann on the slopes of Mount Sheikh in Syria, based on intelligence gathered in recent days.

The brothers were arrested in their beds without any resistance, and reports claimed that they were members of what was referred to as "the Islamic group organization."

Injury of 6 Israeli soldiers after locals confronted a force that infiltrated southern Syria.

Six Israeli soldiers were injured, including three with serious wounds, on Friday after residents in the town of "Beit Jinn" in the countryside of the Syrian capital Damascus confronted an Israeli force that had infiltrated the town and engaged in clashes with it before withdrawing.

The army stated in a statement that a force from the reserve brigade (55) operating under the command of the 210th division had infiltrated the village to "arrest wanted individuals," claiming they belong to a group called "the Islamic Group Organization."

It added that the Israeli force "came under fire from armed individuals in the area, resulting in the injury of three officers and three soldiers, including two officers and a soldier with serious injuries."

It clarified that the army responded by opening fire and carried out airstrikes on the village, claiming "the operation was completed, all wanted individuals were arrested, and others were killed."

The army mentioned that its forces "are still deployed in the area and will continue to act against any threat," according to its claims.

Earlier, the Syrian government channel "Al-Ikhbariya" reported that a number of dead and wounded fell as a result of Israeli airstrikes on the town of Beit Jinn in the Damascus countryside.

It explained that the bombardment came after the residents of Beit Jinn surrounded an Israeli military patrol and engaged with it during its incursion into the town before its withdrawal.

The town of Beit Jinn is located on the slopes of Mount Hermon and is only about 10 kilometers from the border separating it from the occupied Golan Heights and Israel. It has repeatedly been subjected to various Israeli military operations, including air and artillery bombardments and temporary ground incursions.

Although the Syrian government has not posed any threat to Tel Aviv, the Israeli army repeatedly infiltrates the Arab country and conducts airstrikes that have killed civilians and destroyed military sites, vehicles, weapons, and ammunition belonging to the army.

A Palestinian dead and a child injured by the fire of the occupation army amid its violations in Gaza.

A Palestinian was martyred and a girl was injured today, Friday, by the fire of the Israeli occupation army as part of its ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, coinciding with renewed airstrikes and gunfire in various areas of the sector.

Medical sources reported that an Israeli drone targeted the "Ramida" area in Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis, resulting in the martyrdom of Palestinian Abdullah Hamad, whose body was transferred to Nasser Hospital.

The targeted area is located within what is known as the "yellow line," which is controlled by the occupation army under the ceasefire agreement, and it continues to control about 53 percent of the total area of the Gaza Strip.

In a related context, a Palestinian girl was moderately injured due to heavy gunfire from Israeli vehicles directed at the tents of displaced persons in the Mawasi area, northwest of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.

This area is inhabited by tens of thousands of displaced Palestinians, who were displaced from their homes in several areas of the sector.

The "Hamas" movement and the Israeli occupation reached a ceasefire agreement mediated by Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, with American sponsorship, which entered its first phase on October 10 of last month.

During the early hours of dawn and morning, the Israeli warplanes launched several violent airstrikes east of Khan Younis and northeast of Rafah in the southern sector.

In the waters off Khan Younis, Israeli warboats opened fire heavily, coinciding with the firing of incendiary bombs towards fishermen and the tents of displaced persons on the beach.

Israeli warboats also fired shells towards the coast of Gaza City, while artillery shelling was also recorded east of Khan Younis in the southern sector.

The Israeli occupation army continues its violations of the ceasefire it signed with Hamas, having committed about 497 violations since October 10, resulting in the deaths of more than 342 Palestinians, according to the government media office in Gaza.

The Israeli genocide in Gaza, which began in October 2023 and lasted for two years, resulted in more than 69,000 martyrs and over 170,000 Palestinian injuries, most of whom are children and women, along with massive destruction, with reconstruction costs estimated by the United Nations at around 70 billion dollars.

"Haaretz": The chances of moving to the second phase of the Gaza agreement are slim.

A newspaper discussed the chances of moving to the second phase of the ceasefire agreement reached in the Gaza Strip, under a plan to end the war, noting that the chances of transitioning to the second phase are slim.

The newspaper clarified that unless solutions are provided for disarming Hamas and agreeing on a governing body for the Gaza Strip, the chances of moving to the second phase of the ceasefire are minimal, and the reality in the strip will remain one of rubble, waiting, and uncertainty.

It mentioned that the ongoing negotiations in Cairo regarding the second phase are making little progress, alongside both sides' lack of interest in advancing key issues.

It indicated that Israel is not interested in withdrawing from a large part of Gaza, while Hamas does not want to surrender its weapons.

It continued that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu does not wish for any additional withdrawal before the general elections scheduled for next year.

It pointed out that the presence of two Israeli corpses in Gaza justifies this delay in the eyes of Israeli and international public opinion.

The newspaper noted that Hamas is not prepared to disarm without a clear commitment to a complete Israeli withdrawal and a detailed plan outlining who will receive the weapons to be surrendered and who will carry out this process.

It added that a plan was discussed to grant weapons to the Palestinian Authority or any non-Palestinian Arab entity, but as long as there is no agreement, these solutions remain theoretical only.

It confirmed that Israel is still considering the military option as a means to disarm Hamas, and therefore it is not in a hurry to move to the second phase of the ceasefire.

It mentioned that Egypt, Turkey, and Qatar aim during their discussions in Cairo to solidify the ceasefire in Gaza and move forward with the 'next day' plan.

It addressed the international force supposed to be deployed in Gaza, which has yet to have its mandate defined, nor who will serve in it, nor how it will operate if Israel does not withdraw from half of Gaza under its control.
