Injury of 10 Palestinians in an attack by settlers in the southern West Bank.

Ten Palestinians were injured on Saturday as a result of an attack by Israeli settlers on the town of Khala'il al-Luz in the Bethlehem governorate in the southern occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent stated in a statement: "10 injuries, one of which was from live ammunition in the thigh, and 9 from beatings by settlers in the village of Khala'il al-Luz in Bethlehem, and 3 of them were transferred to the hospital."

For their part, local sources confirmed that Israeli settlers stormed the village and attacked several homes, setting fire to plastic houses designated for agriculture.

This attack comes as part of a continuous Israeli escalation in the West Bank for more than two years, which has included incursions, arrests, and assassinations, coinciding with the genocide that began in the Gaza Strip on October 8, 2023.

According to official Palestinian data, Israeli assaults in the West Bank by the army and settlers have resulted in the deaths of more than 1,085 Palestinians, injuries to about 11,000, and the arrest of more than 20,500 people since the escalation began.

The assaults have also targeted agricultural properties, with about 48,728 trees destroyed and uprooted, including 37,237 olive trees.
