Hamas announces dissolution of emergency committee, affirms commitment to transferring Gaza administration to national committee

The movement clarified in an official statement that it has already begun taking practical steps to ensure the handover of all administrative tasks in the Strip to the newly formed National Committee, as part of understandings aimed at arranging internal affairs and managing the next phase.

In the context of these arrangements, the movement confirmed the dissolution of the governmental emergency committee that had been managing executive affairs during the past period, considering this decision a responsible measure to create conditions for the National Committee. Sources indicated that this step aims to unify administrative authority in the Strip and prevent any overlap in powers, thereby ensuring the smooth functioning of vital institutions that serve citizens.

On the other hand, Hamas warned against the actions of the Israeli occupation authorities aimed at undermining this administrative transition by attempting to impose a state of vacuum in field institutions.
