Field sources reported the martyrdom of one person and the injury of two others with varying degrees of wounds, as a result of an aerial raid carried out by Israeli occupation army reconnaissance aircraft, targeting a site in the southern area of Khan Yunis city in the Gaza Strip. This raid comes as part of a series of intense aerial attacks launched by the occupation forces on residential neighborhoods, further complicating the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the Strip.
In another field development in the northern part of the Strip, a Palestinian citizen was injured by bullets fired from a 'quadcopter' drone belonging to the occupation army. Sources explained that the sniping operation occurred in the vicinity of 'Abu Hussein' school, an area crowded with displaced people, indicating the occupation's expansion in using precise drones to directly target civilians inside shelters.
Occupation forces continue their military operations in various axes of the Gaza Strip, with shelling in recent hours focusing on targeting civilian gatherings and populated areas, amid continued international warnings about the repercussions of targeting shelters and schools that have become last resorts for thousands of displaced families.
The direct targeting in the vicinity of 'Abu Hussein' school reflects the escalation of the occupation's use of drones to snipe unarmed citizens in displacement areas.
