Israeli settlers attack Palestinian homes in the southern West Bank.

Armed Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian homes on Friday in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank.

The official Palestinian news agency reported that a group of settlers from the "Metsbi Yair" settlement in Masafer Yatta south of Hebron attacked the homes of citizens, threw stones at them, assaulted members of the "Abu Aram" family, and stole two donkeys from the village.

The agency added that the Israeli army detained young man Muhammad Ahmad Abu Aram after he confronted the settlers' attack, who caused destruction to the citizens' properties.

According to the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, settlers carried out 431 attacks against Palestinians and their properties in the West Bank during the past month of August.

The attacks varied between armed assaults, imposing facts on the ground, field executions, land leveling, and uprooting trees.

The United Nations confirms that Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories are illegal and undermine the possibility of implementing a two-state solution, calling for their cessation for decades without success.

Alongside the genocide in Gaza, the Israeli army and settlers in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, have killed at least 1,046 Palestinians and injured about 10,160, in addition to arresting more than 19,000.
