Hebrew media: Trump asks Netanyahu to accelerate military operations in Gaza

The Hebrew newspaper Yisrael Hayom revealed that U.S. President Donald Trump has asked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to accelerate military operations in the Gaza Strip. This request comes at a time when pressure is increasing on the occupying government from the U.S. administration.

The newspaper explained that the Minister of Strategic Affairs in the occupying government, Ron Dermer, warned during a meeting of the security and political cabinet (the Cabinet) that the U.S. administration's patience with the ongoing war in Gaza is beginning to run out.

This warning reflects the growing concern in Washington about the escalation of violence in Gaza, where the number of martyrs and injured among Palestinian civilians is increasing due to the ongoing aggression.

At the same time, the occupying government continues to carry out military operations in the sector, complicating the humanitarian situation and exacerbating the humanitarian crises there.

These developments come at a sensitive time, as Trump seeks to strengthen his position in U.S. foreign policy, and it seems he prefers to take more drastic steps to support the occupation in the context of the ongoing conflict.

It is worth noting that U.S. pressure on the occupation is not new, but it is noticeably increasing under the current circumstances, raising questions about the future of relations between the two sides.
