Haniyeh: Our decision is to defend Al-Aqsa Mosque, whatever the cost

Doha - "Al Quds" dot com - Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of Hamas, said today, Friday, that the decision of the Palestinian people and the Islamic nation is to defend and protect the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, whatever the cost.

In a press statement, Haniyeh said, "There are only two options, either occupation, oppression, and offerings in Al-Aqsa Mosque, or the bond and consolidation of the Islamism of Jerusalem and its Al-Aqsa Mosque."

He added, "We, the Palestinian people and the Islamic nation, decide, and our decision is to defend and protect the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, whatever the price."

He continued, "There is no place for invaders in our Jerusalem and Aqsa, and we will be victorious in the struggle of will and identity, no matter how long it takes."
