The Houthis announce targeting a US supply ship with a ballistic missile.

Yemen's Houthi group announced on Saturday evening that its naval forces had targeted the US aircraft carrier Truman with a ballistic missile.

Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said in a televised statement that the missile force and the air force engaged "a number of American warships, including the aircraft carrier Truman."

Saree added, "The targeting operation, which lasted for hours, prevented the enemy from launching aggressive attacks on our country during the targeting period."

He pointed out that the group's naval forces "targeted the US aircraft carrier Truman's supply ship with a ballistic missile."
