Israeli Minister: The normalization train will continue, but after we subjugate our enemies

Israeli Energy Minister Eli Cohen said he was sure more countries would join the normalization agreements in the near future, but added that this would only happen through force and after we succeed in subduing our enemies.

He added in a tweet on his page on the X website that in the Middle East no one makes peace with the weak.

He stressed that Israel, in cooperation with the international community, must put an end to what he described as the Iranian axis of evil, noting that through this, "we will achieve stability, prosperity, peace and security in the Middle East," he said.

He attached to his tweet a photo of the opening of the Israeli embassy in Bahrain about a year ago, noting that on this day and 4 years ago, the Abraham Accords were signed, which changed the face of the Middle East, according to him.

"Even today, in the midst of war, trade between the two countries continues to flourish, proving that agreements are here to stay," he added.

In September of last year, Eli Cohen (then Israeli Foreign Minister) officially opened the Israeli embassy in Manama, in the presence of Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdul Latif Al Zayani.

"We agreed on the need to work together to increase the number of direct flights, tourism, trade and investment," Cohen said during the embassy's opening ceremony.

Cohen explained that "since the signing of the Abraham Accords and the peace agreement with Bahrain, 50 agreements and memoranda of understanding have been signed between the two countries, and there are 5 direct weekly flights between Israel and Manama."

Israel signed two agreements to normalize relations with Bahrain and the UAE in September 2020 under US sponsorship, known as the “Abraham Accords.”
