On Sunday evening, the revolutionary artist Hussein Al-Mundhir died inside Hisham Sinan Hospital in the Syrian capital, Damascus.
Hussein Al-Mundhir was born in Baalbek. He is a Lebanese artist and leader of the Palestinian Lovers Songs band, which is famous for its Palestinian national and traditional songs.
He sang for Palestine, putting his vocal imprint on more than 300 patriotic songs, and among his most famous songs are: From Akka Prison, A Funeral Talaat, and Ya Rising on the Mountains of Fire.
