Today, Monday, the Ministry of Education confirmed that the Israeli occupation authorities’ targeting of education in the city of Jerusalem constitutes a violation of international covenants, laws, and rights.
In a press statement, the ministry called on countries of the world, international and human rights organizations, and those defending the right to education to take a serious stance towards the occupation policies regarding the right to education.
This morning, the Israeli occupation police confiscated the books of Al-Aqsa Islamic Secondary School students, and prevented them from reaching their school.
