On Friday evening, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the news that appeared in the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper about the decision of the Minister of National Security in his government, Itamar Ben Gvir, as false and untrue news.
Netanyahu said, in a statement issued by his office, that he had not taken any decision in this regard, and that he would only take a special discussion on the issue with the participation of the various security services.
He stated that a special session will be held to discuss this matter next week.
Ben Gvir himself confirmed to Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper that he adopted this decision.
