Israel blockades Hebron, nearby towns as manhunt continues

Israeli occupation forces set up military roadblocks – severely restricting free movements in a number of towns in Hebron and the surrounding towns – as it ramps up its efforts to catch the shooter of two Israeli settlers on Monday. 

The entrances to the towns of Idna, Tarqumiyah, Bani Naim, Sa’ir, and Beit Einoun were all closed. 

Israel also set up a flying checkpoint at the northern and western entrances to the city of Hebron, and prevented Palestinians from exiting.

At the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, Israel also fired live and rubber-coated metal bullets at several Palestinians. No injuries were reported.
