Thousands demonstrated in the central demonstration on "Kaplan" Street in Tel Aviv, as well as in other towns and junctions, including Holon, Ramleh, Haifa, Ramat Hasharon, Jerusalem, Herzliya, Arad and others.
In the demonstration at the "Karkur" junction, dozens of demonstrators interrupted the speech of the head of the Labor Party, Merav Michaeli, by booing and calling for her resignation.
The Israeli police closed many streets, including central streets in the country, coinciding with the protests.
Today's protests come for the first time after the approval of the state's general budget for the years 2023 and 2024.
The protest organizers referred to Netanyahu's speech after the approval of the general budget, in which he stressed that "the plan to reform the judiciary will return."
The organizers of the protests said that "Netanyahu himself admitted that he directed him towards dictatorship, and it became clear that the talks at the home of the president, Isaac Herzog, were nothing but a ploy by Netanyahu to buy time and bribe his partners."
They added that "in the first round, only one thing stopped Netanyahu, which was the protest of millions, which will stop him again."
