The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs reported that the prisoner commander , Walid Daqqa , who suffers from a very serious health condition, was admitted to the operating room at 10:00 am today, Wednesday.
The authority stated, in a statement, that the operation came as a result of the accumulated deterioration in his health condition, and that the pneumonia he is currently suffering from is due to the medical crime he was subjected to and still is in recent years.
The commission indicated that his wife, Sana, and daughter, Milad, were allowed to visit him for 10 minutes before entering the operating room.
