Israeli sources said, on Sunday, that the Italian Alessandro Farini , who was killed in the run-over attack in Tel Aviv on Friday evening, showed that his autopsy showed that he was run over and not shot.
Italian media reported that Farini was apparently killed by a bullet fired from an Israeli policeman's weapon.
In the context, the Israeli authorities are awaiting the approval of the family of the young man, Youssef Abu Jaber , accused of carrying out the operation, to transfer his body to the Medico-Legal Institute for an autopsy.
According to the Hebrew website, Ynet, the aim of this step is to determine whether the operation was aimed at possibly deviating from the road, or whether he did what happened deliberately (i.e., an offensive operation).
The family of the young Abu Jaber, a resident of Kafr Qassem , denies the Israeli account and confirms that what happened with her son was a traffic accident.
