Under the pretext of Jewish holidays: the occupation closes the Ibrahimi Mosque for two days

The Israeli occupation forces announced the closure of the Ibrahimi Mosque in front of Muslim worshipers, for two days, starting today, Sunday, under the pretext of Jewish holidays.

The Director General of the Hebron Endowments, Hajj Nidal Muhammad Amin al-Ja’bari, denounced the closure of the Ibrahimi Mosque, considering it a blatant violation of the sanctity of the sanctuary, and a provocative attack on the right of Muslims to reach their places of worship.

Al-Ja'bari called on the international community in general, Islamic and Arab countries, and institutions related to cultural, heritage and religious affairs, led by UNESCO, to put their decisions into practice, due to the seriousness of what is happening in Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa and Ibrahimi mosques.

It is noteworthy that the Jewish holidays constitute a nightmare that disturbs the lives of Jerusalemites, especially as they coincide with major violations committed by the occupation forces, including imposing a siege and tightening military measures at checkpoints, and obstructing citizens' access to holy places, especially in the city of Jerusalem, under the pretext of securing settlers.
