The Israeli occupation forces arrested a large number of Palestinians, including released prisoners, in several cities and towns in the West Bank, coinciding with settlers storming the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The occupation forces carried out a wide-ranging campaign of raids and searches targeting the homes of Palestinians in the city of Nablus, in the northern West Bank, where approximately 30 Palestinians were arrested, most of whom were released prisoners.
The occupation army also launched a similar campaign in the city of Salfit, in the northern West Bank, which resulted in the arrest of about 10 other Palestinians.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that 182 settlers, in addition to 778 other people who are called "tourists," stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque in two periods, morning and evening.
The Governorate explained that the settlers entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Mughrabi Gate, performed Talmudic rituals, took pictures, and carried out provocative tours in the courtyards of the mosque under heavy protection from the occupation police.
The occupation forces raided a house in the town of Al-Mughayyir and interrogated its owner, and fired sound and gas bombs before withdrawing from the town, which is witnessing continuous attacks by the occupation army and settlers on a daily basis.
South of Hebron, the Israeli occupation forces demolished three inhabited houses in Khirbet Khallet al-Farra, west of Yatta, coinciding with an attack launched by settlers from the "Susya" settlement on the homes of citizens in the "Wadi al-Rakheem" gathering in Masafer Yatta, amid escalating attacks and a policy of restricting population gatherings in the area.
The West Bank is witnessing a noticeable and unprecedented escalation in attacks by the Israeli army and settlers, after two continuous years of the Israeli war of extermination in Gaza.
These attacks targeted Palestinians, their properties, and their sources of livelihood, which led to the martyrdom of 1,092 Palestinians, in addition to the injury of about 11,000 people and the arrest of more than 21,000 others, according to official data.
