The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced the martyrdom of 366 Palestinians and the injury of 938 others as a result of violations committed by the Israeli army since the ceasefire agreement came into effect.
Since October 8, 2023, and for two years, Israel has been waging a war of genocide in Gaza, and continues to violate the agreement that began on October 10 last year.
The ministry explained in a statement that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 8 martyrs (6 new cases and the retrieval of two bodies) and 16 injuries during the past twenty-four hours.
The statement stated that since the start of the ceasefire, the total number of martyrs has reached 366 martyrs, 938 injuries, in addition to the retrieval of 619 bodies.
According to ministry statistics, the death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 70,125 martyrs and 171,015 injuries since the beginning of the genocide.
The ministry confirmed that a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, with the difficulty of ambulance and civil defense crews reaching them due to the massive destruction and lack of necessary equipment.
In addition to the human losses, most of whom are children and women, Israel has caused widespread destruction in Gaza, with the United Nations estimating the cost of reconstruction at about $70 billion.
In addition to the continuous bombing, Israel violates the agreement by preventing sufficient quantities of food and medicine from entering the besieged Gaza Strip, where about 2.4 million Palestinians live in catastrophic conditions.
