Red Crescent: The occupation prevents the rescue of a young man who was martyred by settler gunfire in Hebron

The Palestinian Red Crescent announced this morning, Monday, that Israeli occupation forces prevented its medical teams from providing aid to a Palestinian who was shot in the head in the city of Hebron.

Sources from the Red Crescent reported that the teams attempted to reach the injured young man in the "Ras al-Jura" area at the northern entrance of Hebron, but the soldiers present at the scene forced the teams to leave, preventing any urgent medical assistance from being provided.

Later, field sources confirmed the martyrdom of the young man due to his injuries, and that the occupation allowed his family to identify his body in preparation for burial procedures.

According to sources, a settler fired the fatal shot at the young man at the northern entrance of Hebron, in an incident that sparked widespread anger and sadness among the city's residents.

This incident is part of a series of ongoing assaults carried out by settlers in the West Bank, at a time when the Israeli army faces criticism for not taking effective measures to protect civilians.

The local community in Hebron continues to express its concern over the escalating tension, demanding an end to the assaults and protection for the lives of the residents, while the family of the martyr makes burial arrangements amidst deep sorrow.
