The occupation continues to storm villages and towns in Jenin for the second day.

Israeli occupation forces continued to raid towns and villages in Jenin Governorate for the second consecutive day.

The mayor of Qabatiya, Ahmad Zakarneh, stated that the occupation forces stormed the town at dawn yesterday, raiding several homes, searching them, and establishing a presence in four of them, turning them into military barracks after forcing the residents to evacuate.

Zakarneh added that the occupation deployed its soldiers in the streets of the town yesterday, who fired live ammunition at young men, resulting in the injury of a 35-year-old man in the abdomen, with his condition described as critical.

He indicated that school hours in the town were postponed today due to the ongoing incursions by the occupation forces, in addition to the disruption of several institutions and the closure of commercial shops.

The occupation forces also continued to raid the villages of Masliyah, Al-Jadidah, Siris, and Sanur, where they obstructed the movement of citizens and checked their identities.

The Qabatiya Education Directorate announced the postponement of school hours in the villages that the occupation continues to raid for the second day, which are: Siris, Al-Jadidah, Sanur, Masliyah, and Anza.

It is noteworthy that two children were martyred yesterday evening, and four other citizens were injured by the occupation forces' gunfire at the entrance of the eastern Jenin camp while residents were attempting to return to their homes from which they were displaced eight months ago.
