Prisoners' Club: 19,000 cases of detention since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza.

The Prisoners' Club reviewed the key facts about the arrest operations, which include arrests in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, after 700 days of the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.

The club stated today, Friday, that the total number of arrests in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, has reached more than (19,000) cases.

It added that this figure does not include Gaza, where the number of arrests is estimated in the thousands, as the concept of arrest cases includes those who were detained and remain in detention and those who were later released.

It clarified that the total number of arrests among women since the beginning of the genocide has exceeded (585), including women who were arrested from the territories of 1948, and cases of arrests among women from Gaza who were detained from the West Bank, while this figure does not include the number of women arrested from Gaza, which is estimated to be in the dozens.

The club confirmed that the number of arrests among children in the West Bank has reached at least (1,550) children.

As for the martyr detainees, it confirmed that since the beginning of the genocide, at least (77) detainees have been martyred in the occupation's prisons, whose identities have been revealed and announced, including (46) martyrs from Gaza detainees, in addition to dozens of Gaza detainees who were martyred in prisons and camps, whose identities and circumstances of their martyrdom have not been disclosed by the occupation, and they remain subjected to enforced disappearance.

It is noted that (74) of the martyrs whose identities were announced since the beginning of the genocide still have their bodies held, among (85) martyr detainees, whose bodies the occupation continues to hold, whose identities have been announced.

The Prisoners' Club stated that since the beginning of the genocide until today, there is no clear estimate of the number of detainees from Gaza in the occupation's prisons and camps, and the only available data is what the prison administration announces, classifying them as (illegal combatants), which is (2,662), noting that institutions have been unable to monitor the number of arrests from Gaza in light of the crime of enforced disappearance imposed on Gaza detainees since the beginning of the aggression, and their number is estimated to be in the thousands.
