The Ramallah Governorate in the occupied West Bank witnessed new attacks by Israeli settlers on Friday, resulting in the injury of 3 Palestinians and the burning of 3 vehicles and a house. These attacks come in the context of ongoing violations faced by Palestinians in the occupied territories.
According to eyewitnesses, a group of settlers attacked the town of Al-Mazra'a Al-Sharqiya east of Ramallah, leading to clashes with Palestinians. During these confrontations, settlers fired at citizens, resulting in at least 3 Palestinians being injured, who were transferred to the Ramallah Medical Complex for treatment.
In another incident, Israeli settlers assaulted the town of Attara north of Ramallah, where they completely burned two vehicles and partially burned a third. They also set fire to one of the houses, causing parts of it to burn, according to local residents.
These attacks come amid escalating violence by Israeli settlers against Palestinians, with data indicating that at least 1,014 Palestinians have been martyred since October 7, 2023, in addition to around 7,000 injured and 18,500 detained.
These attacks are accompanied by a campaign of genocide launched by the occupying state in the Gaza Strip, which has resulted in a large number of martyrs and injured, reflecting the extent of the suffering experienced by Palestinians in all occupied territories.
Israeli violations continue to disregard international calls and demands to stop the aggression, further complicating the humanitarian situation in the Palestinian territories and reflecting a state of chaos and instability.
The ongoing attacks by settlers reflect a state of security breakdown in the occupied West Bank.
