Today, Friday, the Israeli occupation authorities transferred 12 mobile homes (caravans) to a new colonial outpost they established on citizens' lands east of the city of Qalqilya, and housed 10 settler families there.
Local sources reported that the transfer took place at night under heavy protection from the occupation army, as part of a plan to expand the colonial outposts of the "Kedumim" settlement, built on the lands of the village of Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya.
She explained that the occupation began six months ago the process of leveling and paving a colonial road in the area, which included the leveling of about 10 dunams of land, and the establishment of a new colonial outpost on top of Mount "Al-Kadan" at the expense of the lands of the village of Kafr Qaddum, which was named "Gideon Neighborhood" and considered part of the "Kedumim" settlement.
She added that this outpost threatens to restrict farmers' access to thousands of dunams of olive trees north of the village, isolating those lands and depriving their owners of access to and cultivation.
