Hamas spokesman Abdel Latif al-Qanou was killed in a violent shelling that targeted his tent in the Halawa camp in Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.
Local sources confirmed that the bombing resulted in a number of deaths and injuries, amid ongoing airstrikes targeting various areas across the Gaza Strip.
This targeting comes amid escalating aggression against Gaza, with the occupation forces continuing to carry out intensive bombing operations on several areas, resulting in a rise in the number of martyrs and wounded in recent days.
