The Israeli occupation army is set to expand its military operations in the Gaza Strip, deploying more troops into the territory within 48 hours, according to Hebrew media.
Israel's Channel 12 reported: "Although the army is operating in Gaza, Hamas has the capabilities and can launch rockets at Israel."
Separately, the death toll rose to five as a result of an Israeli airstrike on the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah.
An Israeli air strike targeted a house in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Hamas stated that the Israeli occupation army continues its brutal attacks on defenseless civilians, including children, women, and the elderly, in the Gaza Strip. The death toll since the start of the new wave of genocide has exceeded 630, amid a strict siege and a comprehensive ban on all aspects of life.
She stressed that the crimes of the terrorist Netanyahu government constitute a blatant and unprecedented violation of international law and a disregard for all human values.
