710 Palestinians dead and more than 900 wounded in the Gaza Strip within 48 hours

The Israeli war machine in the Gaza Strip has not let up since Tel Aviv resumed its bloody war on the besieged Palestinian enclave. It issued "new evacuation warnings" and announced the start of a "limited ground incursion."

Israeli occupation forces returned to the "Netzarim Corridor," which separates the northern Gaza Strip from its southern part, with the start of what they described as a "limited" ground incursion into that area.

Israel intensified its airstrikes on various areas of the Gaza Strip, with at least 40 people killed early Thursday morning in Israeli airstrikes targeting 11 homes in Khan Yunis, Rafah, and Beit Lahia.

Khalil Al-Daqran, spokesman for Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza Strip, told Al-Arabiya TV that 710 martyrs and more than 900 wounded had been transferred to hospitals in the Strip over the past 48 hours.

Khalil Al-Daqran explained that 70% of the injured were women and children, most of whom were in critical condition. He confirmed that some wounded had died due to the lack of urgent medical care.

Speaking to Al Arabiya TV, he noted that only about 15% of patients and wounded were allowed to leave the Gaza Strip for treatment.
