Australia condemns killing of civilians in Gaza

Australia has condemned the killing of innocent civilians by Israel in recent operations in the Gaza Strip.

The Australian Foreign Minister said in a statement today that the humanitarian situation in northern Gaza is unacceptable.

"Israel must allow the flow of essential supplies," she added. "I have asked Australian officials to communicate our concerns directly to Israel."
