Hundreds of citizens participated in marches in several governorates in the West Bank today, Wednesday, condemning the assassination of national leader Ismail Haniyeh.
In Ramallah, a march took place in the city streets, during which participants expressed their sincere condolences to Haniyeh's family and the Palestinian people, and chanted slogans calling for national unity.
Participants in a march in the city of Nablus, called for by the Factions Coordination Committee in Nablus, with the participation of a number of representatives of national and popular activities, also condemned the assassination of Haniyeh.
The participants stressed that the assassination of Haniyeh is a shameful crime, calling for closing ranks, ending division, and achieving national unity.
Dozens of citizens in the city of Tubas participated in a mass rally and a march that passed through the city's streets, denouncing the assassination of Haniyeh.
Representatives of the national and Islamic forces in Tubas participated in the vigil and the march that started from the Martyrs' Roundabout to the State Square in the city center.
