American Jewish doctor Mark Perlmutter said that Israeli snipers are "deliberately" targeting Palestinian children during the recent attacks on the Gaza Strip.
Perlmutter, who has spent 30 years in disaster zones around the world, said what he witnessed in Gaza in his first week was more tragic than anything he had seen in his career.
"All the disasters I saw combined over 40 field trips, including natural disasters and the World Trade Center bombing, did not match the level of carnage I saw against civilians in just my first week in Gaza," Perlmutter said.
He added that most of the victims he saw were children, explaining, "I have never seen anything like this before. I saw children burned and torn apart in a way that exceeds anything I have ever seen in my life."
