The International Criminal Court decided to postpone the issuance of arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Defense Minister Yoav Galant on charges of committing war crimes in Gaza, to give an opportunity for further legal opinions.
The court said that the step came after more than 60 countries and organizations requested to postpone the issuance of the decision to present their objections regarding the arrest request.
The court added that it gave the states and objecting parties until August 6 to submit their opinions to the Office of the Prosecutor.
