The US State Department reported on Thursday that Washington does not support launching a “major” military operation in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
The US State Department considered that the proposed proposal, to reach a truce, answers many of Hamas’ demands and achieves an immediate ceasefire.
It demanded that Tel Aviv take the necessary steps to hold accountable those who attacked aid convoys to Gaza.
Meanwhile, the Hebrew Channel 13 published, quoting an official it described as senior, that the operation to invade Rafah without American permission affects the deal with the detainees.
