Biden: The settlement in Gaza is still far away

US President Joe Biden announced that the settlement in the Gaza Strip is still far away.

Biden told reporters at the White House today, “We are still far from a settlement in the Gaza Strip,” without making further comments on the issue.

In response to a question about the decline in his popularity among voters of Arab origin due to his administration’s support for Israel, Biden pointed out that they should worry more about his potential rival in the elections, referring to Donald Trump.

Biden added that Trump "intends to ban Arabs from entering" the United States.

It should be noted that US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller made contradictory statements regarding the prospects for resolving the conflict in the Middle East, saying that Washington and the Israeli authorities “see an end” to it.

In turn, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel intends to continue the operation in Gaza until the complete elimination of Hamas, and he expected that this may take months or perhaps years.
