New York Times: Civilians in Gaza are being killed at an unprecedented rate

An article in the American newspaper "The New York Times" described the Israeli bombing operations on Gaza by saying that civilians in the Strip are being killed at a historic rate, as the number of women and children victims of the Israeli aggression in less than two months has more than doubled their counterparts in Ukraine after two years of war, according to United Nations estimates.

The article published yesterday, Saturday, indicated that Israel considered the fall of civilians in Gaza to be an unfortunate but inevitable measure, and cited the heavy human losses resulting from the military campaigns launched by the United States itself in Iraq and Syria. However, a review of past conflicts and interviews with weapons experts indicate that the Israeli attack is different.

Although the numbers of deaths during wartime are not accurate, experts say that even a close reading of the numbers of casualties coming from Gaza shows that the rate of killing during the Israeli aggression has no precedents in this century.
