The Israeli occupation army admitted on Wednesday morning the killing of nine soldiers from the Givati Brigade in northern Gaza, after their vehicle was bombed by an anti-tank missile in the ongoing battles with the Palestinian resistance in the northern Gaza Strip, bringing the number killed in the past 24 hours to 11.
The occupation forces published a list of the names of the dead, and confirmed that four soldiers were seriously injured after a troop carrier was subjected to a missile attack by the Palestinian resistance.
In this context, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant on Wednesday described the killing of Israeli soldiers in battles against the resistance as a “cruel and painful” blow.
Gallant said that the "significant achievements" achieved by the intense fighting in the Gaza Strip unfortunately exact a heavy price.
